About Julie

21 Years Experience Caring For Dogs
I have been working with dogs since I was a child. My parents bred and trained Norwegian Elkhounds. I have had the pleasure of working with Rover for the last 6 years, meeting new families and their beloved pets. My children and I love animals, and they are currently in the process of learning how to train dogs as well.

We have a two story home, so if we ever have more than one dog at a time, we can easily split them between two comfortable places. We have an acre back yard, so there is plenty of place to run and play for our furry friends when they visit.

If training is needed, we can work with you and your pet! We aim to please and will work with your schedule, needs, and accommodate any requests when it comes to providing the best care for your family member.

The meet and greet went fine. Julie sounded knowledgeable about dogs during the meet and greet. On the day she was suppose to take care of them, she left half way through and didn't return, while we were out of town. Naturally, we had to call around and pay extra money, due to needing someone as soon as possible.
Some context:
I had texted Julie twice (9 hours apart) to check on the dogs. She was delayed on the responses and claimed to be "micromanaged". I asked her what she was referring to and didn't get a response.

We felt at ease leaving Zoe with Julie, and were very happy with her services. Would rebook again in the future.
It was great trying Dogvacay and Julie. I had to go out of town and all the kennels were full, due to fall break with the schools. Easy drop off and pick up. Buddy had other dogs to play with while there for his stay. He was a happy pup when I picked him up.

Lola seemed to have a great time over our short weekend and Julie kept us up to date with pictures and texts on how she was doing.
Julie was great! She took great care of Lola while I was away and she kept me updated daily with pictures and videos of my sweet girl having a great time at her house. I highly recommend Julie and plan to let Lola vacation with her very soon!
Julie was wonderful watching our two pups and made our first time using dogvacay an awesome experience! She sent us updates and pictures on how the dogs were doing throughout their stay and put us at ease.
Wonderful and so sweet! Daily updates with pictures and video:) Absolutely would have our Dog stay with Julie again!
Julie took awesome care of my dog, over the Easter weekend. Sent me pics of her playing with other dogs, and when she returned to me she was happy and worn out from playing all weekend. Thanks Julie.
Julie and Mark are great. They have a great house and environment for our dog. She sent photos and update by text which I really appreciated since we were busy on a convention for several days. Thank you for taking care of our baby!
