~*IF INTERESTED IN BOARDING IN MY HOME THE WEEK OF XMAS - YOUR DOG MUST GET ALONG WITH OTHER DOGS! I have 1 more spot open for a small to medium size dog, though if you have a large docile breed dog you may still inquire within to see if I may consider boarding him/her this Xmas week after a M&G.~

(Drop Off & Pick Up Hours:

*Sunday 9am - 2pm &
6pm - 9pm (due to church service OR

Mon - Sat 9am – 9pm)

I’ve been working as a full-time pet sitter for three years where I have the opportunity to provide 24/7 hour care to pets with anxiety and other issues in their own home (dogs & cats) or mine (dogs only) for now. I do this as a career not as a hobby, so you can be assured I take my job seriously and will love your pets as if they were my own. I've owned cats and a Pitbull and hope to own another dog in the near future. For now, I continue my education of animal behavior through online dog training classes and books with guidance of a local dog trainer that I've worked with in Portland. Previously, I had worked as a veterinarian assistant, dog trainer assistant, dog grooming assistant and other fields of animal care.

*DISCOUNTS WHEN BOARDING MULTIPLE DOGS!

******* DOG BOARDERS I DON’T TAKE... ********

*Excessive barkers, *high energy, or *high prey drive

(Your dog will be in a large room with me for most of their stay, especially in the fall/winter/spring months when it is rainy, so it is important they are comfortable. I provide one 30 min walk daily more or less dependent on the weather, energy levels, and breed. Please keep this in mind during these seasons when it may not be possible for them to have access to the yard to play for long. We don't want a muddy puppy!)

(Please consider discussing the option of pet sitting in your home if you have dogs with high energy or high prey drive.

*FIRST TIME BOARDING CLIENTS –
It’s best to drop off your dog at least 4-5 hours before closing. This gives your dog time to settle into his/her new environment before bedtime.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
MY PLACE: The space is large studio basement (1,071 sq. ft.) which STAYS COOL ALL YEAR ROUND, so no need for an a/c. However, I keep two fans on hand to keep it extra cool because I tend to run a little hot than most people. For the winter months I have a fireplace and a heater. I also have a large yard included that is fenced.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

--*OVERNIGHT PET SITTING IN-YOUR HOME:

*SITTING INSIDE YOUR HOME: Must book at least 3 days to qualify (coming home on 4th day)

*For shorter stays I recommend: Boarding Dogs in My Home (if your dog(s) qualify).

***I serve most of the SE and NE Portland area’s ONLY (UNLESS transportation is provided). Please contact me to see if I service your area.

~~~~~DISCOUNTS FOR DOGS BOARDING IN MY HOME!~~~~~
#2 - I love pampering dogs/cats and am able to provide 24/7 hr. care if needed and give them special attention as if they were my own children.
#3 - I only accept one job at a time for “Overnight In-Home Pet Sitting,” so that your pets receive my sole and undivided attention always and it's never on any other pets but yours. I also, offer the same service for dog boarders per request or if boarding a large dog or reactive dog for $10 extra.
#4 – I have paid animal care experience and use ongoing dog behavior classes to be the best pet sitter for your pets’ needs. No pet will EVER be left alone together without my supervision even for a moment.
Cori provided a warm and comforting vacay for our dog Ruby! Cori was careful to accommodate Ruby's little anxieties, plus she gave me some good tips about walking leashes and healthy treats.
Cori is GREAT!! We're repeat customers with Cori because she takes such great care of our two dogs. She sends texts and photos to provide updates on how the pups are doing. Have recommended her to others and will use her again!!
Cori took great care of little Levi for his day-long stay. She was very thorough and careful with him. She has a big fenced backyard for pups to explore and play in. The cute pics of him throughout the day were much appreciated. It was clear he had a great time by the fact that he didn't want to leave!
This is the second time we've used Cori and would highly recommend her. The dogs love her and she is very attentive to them. Cori posts lots of pics which is fun to see and keeps in good communication. We feel very comfortable having Cori stay at the house and look after our dogs while we're away. Thanks Cori!
We had Jerry stay with Cori over the Fourth of July holiday. She gave him lots of personal attention and had great techniques for helping him relax during the fire works. She was very attentive and kept us well updated. I can't think of a better care giver for our dog!
Cori took such great care of my dog! I came home to a happy well-adjusted pooch who acted as though he stayed at a friends. Thanks Cori!
Cori really helped us with watching our older dog with health issues during a difficult time. We had to travel cross country to go to my fathers memorial service. Cori was able to help us and care for our diabetic older dog and to seek appropriate care from the vet when needed. She's very conscientious and skilled. Highly recommend her!
Cori did a fantastic job taking care of our dogs in our home while we were gone. We have a very old dog and she is so wonderful with him and pays such close attention to how he is doing each day. We feel totally confident and relaxed when she is taking care of your two guys.
Cori is awesome! Willie came home happy. She sent lots of cute pictures and updates. She worked with Willie loose leash skills and introduced her to the Frisbee! Our flight was canceled and we had to come back a day late. Cori was a lifesaver and was able to extend Willie's stay with short notice.
Cori went above and beyond to make my little Biscuit (12-1/2 yrs. old) feel comfortable and secure.
I could tell when I picked Biscuit up that she was happy and did not exhibit the usual panic to get to me that has happened when she has been boarded at other places. Cori made everything easy for both me and Biscuit.
Eugene had a great time with Cori. She sent numerous photos and updates about him. He was happy and came home happy too. Thanks Cori!
My dog stayed for 2 days along with a 10 month old golden doodle. Cori was extremely attentive and careful with both dogs. She kept the doodle in a large comfortable enclosure in her room when the dogs first met to make sure they both got along well. (They did!) She was always observant, & responsible. I thought my dog had outgrown playing with other dogs, but she had a ball with the doodle! Cori is my favorite dog sitter. I can't recommend her highly enough.
I took Rupert to stay with Cori for a few days and was very happy with the experience. She lives in a nicely wooded Woodstock neighborhood with a large backyard perfect for running around and sunning. She took Rupert for frequent walks and often sent pictures of his activities. He even was able to sleep in the bed with her which is his favorite place to be.
When we arrived she asked a series of questions to ensure he had the best experience.
Cori took WONDERFUL care of our dog while we were out of town.
She communicated well with us, and sent us updates and photos from time to time.
We are very fortunate to have found such a caring sitter so close to us. We will certainly call Cori again if we need a safe place for him to stay while we're away.
Cori was wonderful with our 2 dogs for the 15 day stay. She is so warm with them, and even did some much needed training. I would not hesitate using her again. They seemed very content when we came to get them, and she is very organized and focused on their well-being.
We were very pleased with Cori, the way she looked after the dog. He is older and she had patience with him. He had many walks a day. She mailed pictures and regular updates. A great place to leave the dog. We do it again when we need it. I recommend her highly.
Cori recently watched all of our animals (1 dog, 2 cats and 7 fish). She communicated throughout her week at our house, sent pictures and checked in with us so that we knew our pets and house were all ok. While she was at our house, Cori came down with the stomach flu and dealt with record breaking rainfall. Despite the flu and the rain, Cori took care of our pets, gathered our mail and entertained our dog by hiding treats (walks in the storm was not an option). She even read through our paperwork from a recent dog training and she kept up the techniques we've been using. She never once quit and we appreciate that even extremely sick, she did not leave our pets without care.
Our dog is a rescue, relatively new to our family and she can be anxious. The last time we traveled we took her to a kennel. After we picked her up, it took her a week to readjust. Having Cori stay at our house really helped our dog. Our dog has not shown any signs of readjustment, she's relaxed and happy.
Cori did a great job with our anxious dog in her home for a daycare trial. We are still getting to know our dog and Cori encountered unexpected challenges that we were unaware of until today. She was kind, forgiving and honest. She's been very helpful with suggestions on how we can make our dog more comfortable/relaxed. We look forward to Cori caring for our dog in our home in the near future.
Cori is amazing! Our dog June, loved being with her so much, she didn't want to come home. She sent us pictures and updates letting us know how June was doing and even sent a little doggie treat package home with her! I would definitely recommend Cori to anyone looking for a loving, kind, responsible pet sitter. We have found our go to pet sitter! Thank you Cori!
