I volunteer to dog sit even when people don't need me to, and literally always talk about dogs to anyone. I love every type of dog, and it's my goal to meet every dog in the world. I will stop a person on the street to pet their doggies. I don't have the funds for my own doggy yet, so I would absolutely love to hang out with everyone else's dogs! I do volunteer at the shelter near me when I have time, and it is imperative to follow certain rules when dealing with shelter dogs. You have to keep all dogs apart and always on a leash, unless they are in a fenced in area with only themselves, so I do understand the importance of following strict directions. I dogsit for my aunt and roommate quite a bit. I am 100% fine with dogs cuddling with me, so our daily routine involves a lot of cuddles and walks. I will feed the dogs at specific times of the day, depending on the amount they need, rather than the entire amount just once a day, or, if they are a grazer, I leave their food out all day. As long as it is okay with the owner, dogs and I will go on trips to get treats and ice cream or frozen yogurt. There is a dog park in Lake Orion 30 minutes away from my apartment that I love going to, and the dogs love socializing and playing at! I can spend more time with dogs depending on the day. I do go to school and hold an office job during the week; both school and work are less than 10 minutes away from my house, so I can let dogs out during the day if I need to as well.
I will create custom quotes up to my discretion for some guests. For example, two small lap dogs are going to be a lot less work than two big dogs. In cases like that, the small dogs would have a discount. I set my rates with all ranges of dogs in mind.
