About: I’ve owned a special needs cat, helped raise our childhood puppy, and regularly sit my friends’ and neighbors’ animals. I’ve worked in a veterinarian office, and recently volunteered with the Providence Animal Rescue League. I work from home as a graphic designer and regularly take walks as a break from the computer. I have a big, spacious house and I’m home a lot. I love spending time with animals, so I take breaks from work every 30–60 minutes to go for a walk, pet or do some training.

About: Honestly, there are ALOT of great pet parents out there these days. How to set myself apart gets more and more difficult. I'd like to think I am great with understanding what an animal needs in terms of food, health, play, & overall care. I've learned some great tricks on how to train dogs properly to listen and obey simple commands such as sit, stay, lay down, leave it (drop), toys and treat names and even how to perform paw! It becomes a game for me to really see the dog thrive and it becomes a gift to myself that keeps on giving! The best skill I can offer is the attentiveness I can give to helping a dog learn and enjoy it's time in my home. The added benefit is being able to meet my own two dogs and have play friends! *A side note: I will also take several awesome, goofy photos and videos for you to enjoy! Much of my time is spent at home, especially when I am caring for other animals. I love to spend time with my pups and it's great to watch other pups playing in the yard with them - it's very exciting I think for all the doggos! I travel to see my newly born niece and siblings a couple times a year and spend most of my time on work and educating myself. I also like visiting RI's dog parks and bike paths when I find the time. Personally, I think it is really important to catch communication signals that an animal is trying to tell you. Things like, "Hey, where's my treat hooman?", Hey meat bag, I gotta go outside and pee or maybeeee just play?!@" or even the subtle "where's my attention!" and often times from my rescue, "ma, leave me be, I'm enjoying my nap!" I think paying attention and giving attention are two separate parts of pet ownership. I love being outside with my dogs allowing them to run in their circles and also give treats often, at least often enough to satisfy their cravings and my sanity. I also believe that safety of not only their play-space but also with their own personality and habits goes a long way. Pet ownership and care has a lot more to it than most know and I love being able to provide the love and care to not only my own animals but all the drooly, fluff-balls in the world!
14. Sarah A.
“Sarah is awesome as always. My pup has stayed with her multiple times and she always makes sure my pup is very comfortable and gets all the cuddles. She always gives me updates and send me pictures and videos. Will definitely recommend her.”
15. Jaclyn M.
“Mateo loves his day with auntie Jaclyn and can’t wait for more!! She sent me pictures throughout the day of him having fun and snuggling her. She is so professional and trustworthy that I did not worry at all about his safety or happiness while with her which says a lot because I am a doting dog mom and have never left him with anyone else! You can fully trust your baby will be in good hands with her! A bonus that she only takes one dog at a time because Mateo likes to be the center of attention! I am traveling for business soon and feel confident that Jaclyn will take great care of Mateo while I am away… Thank you Jaclyn!”
