About Tina

25 Years Experience Caring For Dogs
I have over 25 years experience with dogs. Many of my own and working for the local dog pound and many years working for Save a Pet an organisation that helped orphan dogs and cats.
My brother, Edward, helps me with the pets. That way your dog is never left alone nor kenneled at my house.
We respect and care for your pet like they were our own. We love them to sleep on our couch or bed so they are as comfortable here as they are at home!

My energetic puppy, Copper, had a great time. I'm sure he had lots of fun. And then got a good rest. We were both exhausted with our separate days' adventures and both went to bed early.
Tina was very nice and welcoming... our dog, Emma seemed at home- almost instantly. She has seemed very anxious after 2 traditional kenneling experiences, but because she was invited into Tina's friendly home - she did so much better!

Tina even sent pictures to let us know how Emma was doing while we were away. I would definitely recommend her service for those needing a home-away-from-home for a few days for their furry friends!
Tina and Ed were fabulous with our Lab mix, Jazzie. We were anxious about leaving her for so long this time, but Tina kept us updated with photos and emails. When we picked her up Jazzie seemed happy and relaxed and was well taken care of. I am sure Jazzie is looking forward to going back soon. Thanks Tina and Ed for doing such a fine job of watching "our baby".
Tina and her brother were very friendly and accommodating to Barley, and flexible when the dates of our travel changed. They gave Barley his medication and sent us frequent updates and photos of his stay. He came home happy and healthy, and had made a couple of new dog friends along the way. We will definitely contact Tina the next time we need care for our Barley.
Tina sent us photos of Astrid every day and a note to let us know how much fun she was having! We hope to have Astrid stay with her again the next time!
Pups had a good time
Tina and her brother are so wonderful! We were initially concerned about leaving our fur baby with a stranger for the first time, but we are now happy to say that we are repeat customers and will most likely be in the future too. They took great care of him both times and sent us photo updates. Each time we came back, we could tell our fur baby was happy to see us but also sad to leave Tina's.
We were in town for the Thanksgiving Holiday and Tina watched our dog while we went to the football game. Tina was great. Very responsive and easy to work with. She took great care of our dog.
Tina was such a huge help with my Sugar Butt, especially when I found myself in a bit of a pinch. She was so accommodating to my dog's special needs, and the entire time I was away, I was kept in the loop with picture and message updates that really brightened my day! I know Sugar Butt had a great time and could tell by how at ease she was upon her return that she had been given the best of care. Thank you so much, Tina!
Tina was great and very flexible about my drop off and pick-up times. I was comfortable leaving my dogs with her and she was understanding of my dogs' less than perfect behavior. Would be happy to entrust her with my dogs' care again.
We were greeted by Tina's husband both for drop-off and pick up. It was a surprise, but he was friendly. Our dog was happy and whole when we picked him up.

The only complaint I have is that our dog gained weight on the weekend. He is a small dog, and cannot eat many treats without gaining weight. I was disappointed.
This is the first time we left our puppy with anyone over night. Our puppy is just over a year old and is a lab supposedly shepard mix. Though people say she looks more like a lab pit bull mix. She is a fairly large dog and weighs just over 60 pounds. We live on 14 acres and Jazzie has free range of the property, so we were concerned about finding the right environment for her. Jazzie has a lot of energy and always wants attention. We were delighted with the care that Jazzie received from Tina and Edward. and their home felt like a country place even though it was in the city. I felt that Jazzie had the attention she needed and really enjoyed her stay there. Tina even sent us a picture of Jazzie a little after we left to let us know that she was settling in just fine. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Tina as a dog sitter or as an excellent place to board your dog. We will be boarding Jazzie here again in the future.
Harold and I felt at ease once we arrived and I knew he would be well taken care of. Will use again!
Thank you!
Leo enjoyed his stay and they took great care of him, thanks!
Tina was great! Made sure that I was absolutely comfortable before leaving my dog with her. She even sent me an update a few hours in to let me know how things were going. Will definitely use Tina again!
Tina kept me informed about Rogue' visit. He made good friends with her brother and even slept on his bed.
Our dear old pug stayed with Tina for 11 days. Needless to say I was tense. But Tina sent photos with updates regularly which was so reassuring. I think he had a great time.
Everything went smoothly and Bella (and Tina) survived.
Tina Lives in a Beautiful area of South Hills. My dog is generally a little shy around others, but instantly loved Tina! I could tell then that Tina was the right match for him.
When I picked him up the next day, he was acting like a vey happy Boy, running back and forth to the car the house
In Regards to previous posters, I keep my dog flead, and he did not come home with any fleas
Thank you for watching my babies!
Worst experience ever! When we picked up our dog he was covered in fleas. The worst case we'd ever seen. He wasn't excited to see us and was acting timid and scared. His leash was chewed in half, which tells us that they tied him up and left him alone. He chewed his back side raw because of the fleas. Our 7 month old puppy is traumatized.we will never be back and recommend everyone stay away.
Tina was very accommodating and quick to respond to our request. She was very kind and welcoming, and I left trusting that our dog was in good hands. During our conversation, she asked if my dog had any allergies, because she'd like to feed her some lamb and rice treats. To this I approved, even though I don't normally feed her treats.

When we arrived to pick our dog up the next day, I recognized that she was very bloated and heavy--obviously she got into a lot of food. Soon, Tina explained that she decided to feed her "a little" extra food because she seemed "so hungry." Tina even acknowledged that I probably didn't want that. Anyway, I opted not to lecture Tina and simply leave.

Because of the extra/different food that my dog is not accustomed to, she experienced terrible gas, diarrhea, and lots of loose stool for 2 days afterward. I'm frustrated that Tina does not understand a dogs insatiable desire for food. My dog will eat until she's sick, and it's not OK.

The fleas are also a problem, but Tina was forward about this, and I understand that sometimes fleas are difficult to manage in this season. I suspect that the fleas are living in her yard and home. From my own experience in various homes, I know that a yard/home infestation needs to be professionally treated, especially when the home cares for many dogs. Alternatively, diatomaceous earth is a safe and cheap product. Use it when experiencing dry weather in all areas of the home and yard.

I won't be back.
Tina came to our rescue after another Dog Vacay sitter cancelled at the last minute. Our 4 1/2 month old puppy had never spent the night away from home before and this was our one-night trial before leaving him for over a week. Everything went well the first night so Beau will stay with Tina while we're on vacation. We hate to leave him for so long, but know that someone will be with him all the time and that he'll be able to play with other dogs while he's there.
Tina B. is the best. Great care for the pet, and peace of mind for the owner. No worries while you are away, Tina has everything under control. Individualized attention to each pet and their habits--definitely not a one-size-fits-all operation. You can have complete confidence in Tina.

(I hope I did that thing with the stars correctly. I meant to show 5 stars.)
Tina and her family were fabulous with Andy. When I came to pick Andy up, she didn't want leave. The other dogs Tina was watching were very happy to see me, even if I didn't know them. Andy just knew she had to leave her friends. So if you want to pick a sitter that your dog won't want to leave, Tina is your girl. Thanks Tina!!
Tina was great! Pippy was well taken care of and we got photo updates while we were away. We would recommend her to our friends!
Cassidy spent two days in day care with Tina in her home, which is very near ours. She is a shy dog but did very well with Tina. Now when we go for a walk, she tries to pull us to Tina's. That's the best review I can think of! We will definitely use Tina again.
My two girls enjoyed their stay with Tina and her brother and received excellent care and lots of attention.
Tina and her brother Ed were obvious animal lovers and I felt very comfortable leaving my dogs with them. Tina was thoughtful and sent me pictures and updates throughout their two day stay.
Tina responded promptly to my last minute request and saved my weekend. Her brother Ed doted on my dog and made her want to return!
Sorry this is a delayed review. We left our dog with Tina for 2 weeks over the holidays. We couldn't of asked for a better place! She was very accommodating with pick up and drop off times. They treated our dog like one of their own! We got atleast 1 if not more pictures a day of our dog. She took him on walks everyday. He actually seemed sad when we took him back home with us! He missed them! We would hands down reccomend Tina to anyone who wanted a safe loving place to keep their dog! Look forward to using them in the future!
I believe I have found the perfect home for my 4 year old dog, Dexter when I want to go away. I was concerned about leaving Dexter because he has mild anxiety issues when we are separated. Tina has a lot of experience and I feel confident that Dexter will be cared for with love.
Tina was a life saver for us. I needed someone pretty late notice to dog sit for me over Christmas week and every kennel and practically every private person was already booked. Tina was happy to watch my dog for me even though she already had one booked. Not just any dog, but a puppy, and a Border Collie at that. She did a great job, always answered my messages right away and I'm pretty sure my pup is behaving better than he did before she had him! I would definitely recommend Tina and will be contacting her again if needed.
Tina is a very caring animal lover and I felt very comfortable leaving Lucie, my black lab, with her.
