About Emma

2 Years Experience Caring For Dogs
I use to have an Australian shepherd, I was so excited when I adopted him because he wasn't just a pet he was a best friend. If you don't know anything about these dogs they are super smart and very protective. Soon I'll get another one because I love them so much! Now I have a shih tzu named Lucas, he is afraid of other dogs and sometimes people. I always take care of him like he's a big part of the family. He's fed dog food AND good food, he'll eat anything. He loves walks and I love taking him it's good for both of us. Even if he just went to go potty I still walk a long distance with him. Now he's not shy anymore and he really loves belly rubs the most. So not only am I good with dogs, the unfriendly dogs will warm up to me. I know the time and patience it takes but they have feelings too and they reflect how you feel about them. Also the hyper dogs are family because they give you so much energy and you can't say no to them. Playing with them is important not only for health but it shows how you can make them happy. I don't discriminate either I love cats too. They are not as playful but there are so lovable. When they purr you can't help but squeeze them (not that hard lol) As for the cat liter, I always keep it clean including outside of the liter box. They are potty trained which is amazing so it's no problem with taking care of that. I know they love to climb and play with mouses so there will be lots of things to jump on and be a normal kitty. You will not be disappointed, I had babysat kids and pets at the same time. Of course I prefer pets because of there wild nature but not as wild as kids. There are not many restrictions but the cat (if that's the case) has to be in a separate room whether it's in my house or yours. I think it would be best since dogs go crazy over cats being around them. Unless I know your dog is about the same size or harmless then there is no separation. As for the medicine, I can treat them if they have diabetes and help them after they got fixed as for more medical terms I would take them to a vet. I do love animals with all my heart and I can't wait to see all the shape, sizes and colors there in haha.
