Hi - my name is Emma and I love dogs! I have worked with dogs from the time I was about 12 years old for over 10 years at a boarding kennels (every spare minute I had) and have been a dog owner for 27 years. My first dog a Rough Collie and then a Wire Haired Dachshund.
I am British and live with my Canadian partner Fred in Unionville. Fred is a very calm and happy person - dogs gravitate towards him, and he is totally a dog person. He has owned a Shepherd mix and a Boston Terrier in the past.
We live in a spacious basement apartment and plan to get a puppy in a couple of years when we move to a place with yard access! But for now I feel that it isn't a great idea to have a permanent addition to the family.
Important to note:
I have a job which takes me out from 4 to 7 hours a day. I usually do a split shift 10am-1pm and then 3pm-7pm.
So if your dog has separation anxiety or has high energy, then we are probably not the people to choose to look after your puppy!
So walks are usually from 8am to 9am, a walk at lunch, then a walk at 7pm and at 10.30pm before bed.
We can adhere to a feeding routine and diets and give any medications.
Couple of other things:
We only board one dog at a time, this is to do with our rental agreement.
Arrival and pick up times are: before 9am, around noon or after 7pm.
