I am a 22 year old Lafayette senior from New Hampshire! I have had dogs and cats my whole life and in the wake of the loss of our most recent dog, I am eager to find a way to have some canine time in my life. I have never met a dog I didn't like and though they can't speak to confirm - I don't think I've ever met a dog that didn't like me.
My dogs have both been large breeds. My most recent dog was an energetic golden who's middle name literally was "Trouble" and his vet records showed it. I am now well versed in special diet regimens, oral medication administration, and some other canine medical care due to his frequent health scares.
I am a full time student, but given the flexibility of a college schedule, and my off campus living arrangement, I am happy to accommodate the pups of Easton in my unoccupied hours! If your dog is a go-to-the-park-and-chase-tennis-balls-forever kind of gal, I am happy to play ball-girl. If your dog is a stop-every-four-feet-to-smell-the-neighbor's-tulips fella, I am happy to slowly stroll alongside. I'm not a particularly fast runner but I am happy to jog with the more energetic dogs out there. I am very flexible and happy to accommodate the needs and preferences of your dog(s) based on what makes them the happiest.
I am interested in walking, sitting, and boarding short term.Though I love all dogs, I do have a soft spot for the big ones and am very calm and comfortable with all breeds. My only real unavoidable limitation would be my size. I am tall but light, and though I am strong for my size, I am definitely smaller than some extra large breeds - so in terms of walking, it would be best that larger dogs (100 lbs plus) be pretty great on leash.
You would be hard pressed to find a bigger dog-enthusiast, and I think your dog(s) would be hard pressed to find a better part-time workout or hangout buddy. I look forward to meeting you and your sweet pup(s)!
