I am a happy go lucky man that loves animals of all types and has always had a special way with them. We have always had animals around the house. At least 3 dogs of varied ages at all times (Rufus is my 9th dog, 2nd basset), a couple cats (allergic now), birds, reptiles, rodents, etc. My friends call me a dog whisperer, but I would say I am a dog observer. Whispering to a dog is weird. My hound and I love to meet new dogs and take numerous long walks daily. Rufus is a great dog that is also great for socializing other dogs. He is very calm when needed, but very friendly and eager when he sees his in. Loves attention. I take great pride in understanding an animal on an individual bases. No breed is the same, and no dog within a breed is the same.

If you want someone to absolutely tire your pup out, someone who's patient with your dogs and can even give the needed training, look no further. I couldn't even meet him upfront since he took my pup in last minute due to a cancellation from another host. He's very loving and caring towards my fur baby and that showed when my fur baby was still clinging to him when the reservation was ended. He even gave Lincoln a FREE TOP PAW Harness, Collar and leash because Lincoln's original ones broke. I mean how many dog sitters go out of their way to do that? Overall amazing experience and cannot wait to rebook with him if we could again!
Drew took such good care of my Scooby! Drew was very responsive and accommodating, and sent me occasional picture and video updates while he had my pup. He's patient and it's clear dogs feel at ease around him. He had no problem managing my high energy dog and even offered some really helpful tips and tools. Drew is now my go-to sitter/boarder--I've already re-booked with him!
