I'm a 39 year old Colorado to NYC to Austin transplant. I have a 17 year old Miniature Dachshunds (Seymour). I've taken care of him his entire life. I'm a huge animal lover (a vegetarian in fact). I grew up with German Shepherds so I'm AOK with big dogs too, as is my little guy. Why I love dog sitting I know how difficult it is to leave your pets while you're away for vacation or business. Every time I leave I struggle to find someone I can trust (and afford!) to leave my dogs with. I want to help others who are in the same boat. My experience administering medication As my pups turned Geriatric, I had to become very familiar with administering medication of all kind. I am great at following direction and use my iPhone reminders religiously! My dog Cornelius (RIP) was diabetic and got insulin injections twice a day for the last 4 years of his life.

This was the first time leaving Hanna without family and Christin made sure everything went smoothly and made her feel comfortable! She sent pictures and updates everyday the day which we loved and kept our mind at ease! Will definitely use again!
Spencer enjoyed hanging out with a fellow senior wiener. Christin sent us photos everyday. We will definitely book with her again the next time.
Christin was absolutely wonderful and we will definitely use her again in the future for when our pups need someone to watch them. She was easy to get in touch with and I LOVED getting sent pictures and updates on the dogs!

I own my house and it is dog friendly. My back yard is wide open to the dogs. Fully fenced in with 6ft fencing. A safe place for the dogs to burn off their extra energy!

Please let me know your dogs energy levels and their behavior around other dogs. Its good to have a heads up! My dog is very friendly with other dogs but I need to watch him his first few hours when he's around puppies (he's a grumpy old man of a dog! lol).

Here's where we'll take our walks For early morning and late night walks I will walk them around my neighborhood, for how ever much time you recommend for your dog. Your dog's sleeping arrangement Visiting dogs can sleep on my floor, in a dog bed, in my bed, or in a dog crate. Totally up to you and your dog!

Availability
I work from home so I can be with your pup all day! Since I have a dog already, pet care is baked into my routine. I will amend our routine as needed to best support your dog's existing routine. Seymour is super chill and flexible and doesn't get too worked out of shape about changes!
