I have extensive experience working with birds, reptiles, snakes, dogs and cats. I worked at a reptile house so I have seen everything from savannah monitors to iranjaya to baby bearded dragons.
I volunteered for a cat rescue so have had a lot of experience taming even feral kittens or administering medication to elderly cats.
I also used to bird sit/hand feed so I have an extensive knowledge on any parrot you can think of.
I have clicker trained my own birds and while I would be fine trying this with other pets; I am not a professional trainer, just very passionate about animals.
I am leisurely and active, I run by the waterfront so they would come with, or if they are other dog friendly the free roam dog park. If it's small dogs I would love to walk a few at a time, I adore small dogs. Large dogs maybe two. Only because I am 100lbs. I used to walk my grandfathers half husky/wolf all the time and he would basically walk me. He was a big fluffy teddy bear and I miss him every day.
Which is part of the reason I started this. I have a huge soft spot for husky/wolf breeds! and king dobermans too as I had the pleasure of taking care of my neighbors king doberman a few years back and he was the sweetest dog ever.
I have experience with disabled pets as well so will gladly take them in. One of my own birds is actually disabled from a birth defect. (wonky legs)
I can easily take your pets to the waterfront for a good run or to the roam free dog park if they are fine with other dogs and trained to come when called.
I walk everywhere so exercise will be very easy for them. I also know of a few places downtown that give out dog treats so they will have a snack while walking about.
If it's a bird or cat I do request they have a leash if you would like me to take them out. My own birds are trained on re-call but even with that I simply will not have them unleashed because it is dangerous.
I look forward to working with you and your fur babies!
