About Dianne

Downton Doggy: where pups are treated like royalty. :)
*New Vacayers* with me get $10 off! Ask me how.

My husband and I are absolute dog lovers, some might even say obsessed. :) One day I hope to have acres of land so I can rescue and foster many many more dogs. (A girl can dream can't she?!) But for right now we have 1 easy-going super-friendly rescued pup. Whiskey Rivers is 2 years old and loves new people, dogs and really most anything. She is great at taking the role as activity director for the house and loves showing visiting pups the best ways to play here.

Your furry family will have the run of the house and access to the large fenced-in yard at all times. Depending on their wants or desires they can sleep in my bed, on the couch or their own dog bed. I mean they are on vacation too, aren't they?! :)

We usually have play dates with the neighborhood dogs but if your lil one prefers not to, there are plenty more options for fun. There are scenic trails nearby, creeks to splash in, toys to de-stuff or enjoy the AC/heat and work on all the bones a dog could ever want.

I have been watching pets for 9 years now (cats included but not in my house since my husband is allergic). I have included pictures of some of the dogs I watch but the micro-dane is mine. To put it simply, our pups are our family and we look forward to meeting you and your furry family members!!

Dianne and her family (husband and baby) are great. They have a single-family home and a fenced yard, with a dog and a neighbor dog who likes to come play, too. My dog is relatively new to us and doesn't know a lot of other dogs. He needed to establish his dominance at first with the others, but then they all got along fine. Since our dog is a rescue from a shelter, we're hesitant to put him in a kennel when we're away, we don't want to re-traumatize him, and Dianne's place is like home.

Great! She was responsive, we met and her dog and my dog got along after establishing their "pack hierarchy" and today he was with Dianne and her husband and baby for the day. She tected me so e photos and he came back happy and tired. I'm planning to use Dianne for future, longer stays. Recommend!

Dianne was great, a good communicator and I felt very confident leaving my pup with her for the weekend. We will definitely use her again.
Dianne was great to our German Shepherd! The other dog in the home is sweet and easy to get along with. Our dog was allowed to sleep in the bed with the owners and the other pup which she loved. There is room in the backyard to play. This is just a kind couple that loves animals. I highly recommend!!

Very pleased with the caring and dog-loving environment for our pup. Dianne is awesome!
Dianne was such a great host for my greyhound, Trigger! She took my reservation very last minute and was accommodating for pickup and drop off times. I love that she has a fenced in yard where he could run around off-leash! She sent me pictures throughout the time that I was away. It was so nice to see him relaxed and having fun :) Dianne will be my go-to sitter from now on!

Dianne was great. Our dogs came home tuckered out and happy.
Slim seemed to love it there. Big back yard to run around in. And plenty of bamboo to chew. Couple was gracious enough to except us at the last minute for a weekend getaway. Would highly recommend them!
Dianne was great! we received picture updates of Sadie throughout the week and she was usually quick with a response by text! I will definitely use her again!
Stop scrolling. Yup. Seriously. Dianne is an awesome host!

I knew from our meet and greet that she had lots of experience with all types of dogs and situations. She was even able to introduce my dog Mingus (80lb lab) to the others in a way that gradual, appropriate and best for the entire pack. She has a huge backyard with lots of toys and rally games for the pups.

I also had a long list of "overprotective mommy" stuff and Dianne was able to meet each of those needs. She was also able to send lots of pics and texts while we were away...set my heart at ease! It's also nice to know that the dogs are almost always supervised.

So glad that I found her and Mingus can't wait to get back to his dog "retreat". HIGHLY RECOMMEND! ;-)

We could not have more thrilled with Dianne! Very professional and friendly-- we were nervous to leave our pup, but she put us at ease. Darla came home happy and exhausted from all the fun!
When we met Dianne for a meet and greet, we knew Dover would have a great time while my boyfriend and I were on a cruise. She has a big yard and 2 of her own dogs who are clearly full members of the family. After about an hour of seeing Dover interact with her, we had no qualms about leaving him at all.

Our puppy came to us at 5 weeks and while he has had a significant amount of exposure to other dogs, has never been around them for more than an hour or two per day, and was timid and submissive after one bad encounter. When we picked him up today, he was playing and running with the other dogs with no problems and had obviously developed a relationship with Dianne as well.

Dianne and her fiancee respected all of our wishes for Dover's care, sent us multiple pictures of his daily activities, and we came back to a dog that was sad to leave his summer vacation rather than one anxious to leave a boarding kennel. He had a great time and I'd recommend Downton Doggy to anyone.

She was very patient with my girl Cashmere and took very good care of her during my two day trip. I highly recommend her to anyone that needs a reliable and caring person to look after their dog while away. I know I will definitely contact her again for my future vacation plans!

Dianna was a great hostess. Jenna really had a great vacation with her and her dogs. Dianna home was so warm and loving Jenna felt comfortable right away. We really enjoyed the pictures she sent throughout the week. We hope that Dianna will keep Jenna every time we have to go away. Thank you, Dianna.
