Hi!! My name is Melissa and my husband is Brennan. We LOVE animals.
My husband and I moved here from Charleston SC. While in Charleston I worked at a dog daycare and boarding facility for six years. I have had a handful of other jobs, but my passion has always been working with animals.
We would love nothing more than to care for your furry family member, or perhaps even a family critter :-), while you are away on vacation or at work!!
We may live in a town home but we are a location that is very pet friendly with plenty of routes for a nice long walk!
Typically I work 5 days a week, and so does my husband. We have alternating schedules to where I work mornings and he will work nights, usually only leaving our own dogs alone for 4 hours. I work in catering, so my job can be very flexible depending on the time of year.
Aside from caring for dogs at the daycare/boarding facility I have always been the one family/friends call on for their animal care needs.
All in all I, I simply love caring for animals. It brings me joy which is something very noticeable by those around me.
If you have any other questions please feel free to message me and I will get back with you!
-Dog must be crate trained, while we are away from the house we leave our dogs in crates...we would need to do the same with our guest pups.
-Leashes and collars/harnesses are REQUIRED; we are not a location where ONLY an e-collar or training collar will suffice due to HOA regulations.
- Please be honest if your dog has not been socialized with other dogs, or shows aggression/extreme dominant characteristics. This will not cause us to automatically turn you away, we promise...we just prefer to be prepared for the meet n greet process to make sure we do all we can to introduce the dogs the right way.
With our home being small, we do allow for a maximum of three guest dogs...with this being said; just because there may be a spot available depending on the current dogs staying with us we may not be able to fill the spot. Thanks for the understanding; we just always want to make sure all of the dogs are enjoying themselves during their stay!
Thank you!! :-)
