Pets are family and it can be nerve wracking to find the perfect sitter so that you can truly enjoy your vacation/focus on your work trip. We love animals and look forward to the joy your pet will bring to our home. I promise to bring to your family the same level of trust that I expect of those that watch my furkids. As of June 27, 2019 we adopted two kittens. Since we are no longer pet free, if your dog doesn't like cats we wont be a good fit. So far the cats seem to like visiting dogs, especially their food. If your dog is more of a grazer than gobbler we may need to account for meal shrinkage. I love all animals, but especially the furry ones with personality. I also have a soft heart for senior animals and understand the patience needed. Availability: - We have a large fenced yard and prefer watching pets from our house. Being married, I am not fond of staying away from home overnight. - We prefer to deal with pets from a single family at a time to minimize the upset your furkid may feel about going to 'camp'. - I work from home, so my hours are flexible. - I have plenty of experience taking pets to the vet, so if you want the check up/grooming without the sulking afterwards, you can outsource it. - I am willing to pill your furkid, as long as its cooperative. - I have experience administering subcutaneous [subQ] fluids to elder/recuperating pets. I mostly work from home, and have plenty of time to play with your doggo. If your dog needs to be driven to appointments [vet, groomer, etc] we can arrange that in advance, schedule depending. We have a large fenced yard and two friendly cats to help keep your furkid company. We treat visiting pups like the fun aunt and uncle we are to our nieces and nephews. Always up for playing, discipline lax [unless you specify otherwise], and heavy on the treats.
