Hello there fellow dog lovers! My name is Jessie and I recently moved from San Diego to the Bay Area.
Where did my love for dogs start, you might ask? Well…my family dog was named “Critter” and she was a cross between a chocolate lab and a golden retriever. She was with us for over 14 years and was a treasured family member. If I recount my childhood, adolescent and early adult life, Critter is in almost every memory. She was in every family picture we took and made a tremendous impact on how I view dogs, pets, and animals in general.
When I was eight, Critter gave birth a litter of 11 puppies. Needless to say I was exposed to “doggy day care on speed” very early in life. What is more, growing up I also babysat neighborhood dogs and most recently looked after a family friend’s two adorable dogs (a poodle and a chiwawa) in downtown San Diego.
Unfortunately my current living situation in the Dogpatch district (coincidence anyone?;)) is not ideal for a four-legged friend…but I hope in the next few years I will be able to have a dog of my own! Until then, I would love to take care of yours!
I believe dogs should be treated with respect and showered with love…just like any other family member. Rest assured that while you are away, your four-legged best friend is in good hands!
Please let me know if I can answer any questions you may have.
