My name is Gwen and my husband's name is Nathan. We are a husband and wife team that have been providing pet sitting and dog walking services in Central PA for over 6 years. We live in Halifax, PA with our two dogs Riley & Layla. We started providing dog walking and pet sitting services over 6 years ago. Our love for animals and our frustrations and concerns in finding reliable, loving care for our own dogs when we had to be out of town led us to want to provide this service and care for others in similar circumstances. We love what we do and would love to answer any questions you might have. We are dependable, trustworthy, and love animals. We love caring for your furry family members as if they were our own and enjoy the peace of mind it brings their owners. Our visits include potty breaks, play time, feeding, fresh water, cleaning litter box, cleaning up any messes, watering plants if needed, bringing in mail if needed, play time, a walk if wanted, TLC of course and anything else you need :) What questions do you have? Gwen made us feel at ease when she took care of are Husky puppy, Blue. Before the appointment she came over to learn Blue's routine, even though she was only going to be with him for a couple hours. When the appointment time came, she sent us pictures of him to let us know he was doing fine. We'll definitely be contacting her again next time we need a sitter.
Gwendolyn's special qualities of integrity, reliability, and just plan love and empathy for all of her clients make her an outstanding pet sitter. She will go out of her way to meet the needs of her furry clients and their humans. Example: Gwen has had a client for many years. Gwen recently moved pretty far from this client and so it really isn't easy or cost effective to continue serving the client. However, she has formed such an attachment with them that she continues to do so. It's more than a job to her. It's a joy!
Gwen is AWESOME! Gwen met with me & my puppies prior to her first visit. She took detailed notes on who got what food, their little personality quirks, & what treats they could have. My one pup can be slightly stand off'ish but within 15min he warmed right up to Gwen. Gwen always does a great job with my kids. She always shoots me a text when she gets to my house which always puts my mind at ease. I'll always use Gwen for my PetSitting services.
