Will I take care of your dog while he/she is sick and you have to be at work or away? YES! How can you possibly be away from work or home or on vacation and know your loved one receives 24/7 personal care?
My dog Tazz (see photos) took 16 weeks to recover from cancer surgery 24 hours a day 7 days a week. She would have died without me there.
I love all breeds, and have had dogs since I was 6. Growing up as a kid in the country dogs and animals are my best friends. I have cared for dogs all my life and ask anyone INCLUDING MY VET and they will tell you I will jump in front of a train to save an animal in need. DOGS ARE MY LIFE and I have thousands of indoor /outdoor square feet of jumping for dog joy play space, the perfect place for your big or little one. I can accommodate the largest to the most special little ones with any special needs and not caged in a pen like at a kennel. I am very good with small ones and YES big ones too, even the most aggressive rotties and pits and dobermans melt in my arms. I am a dog psychic also with a registered trademark by the United States of America Patent and Trademark Office. I have a 3.97 Summa Cum Laude degree in Information Systems from the UNIVERSITY OF HOUSTON COLLEGE OF TECHNOLOGY and am also a grad student in at the University of Texas Health Sciences Center School of Public Health. Beat that! You can't get better a educated and more caring dog lover even if you hire a VET. I will treat your dog like family because to me YOUR DOG IS MY FAMILY.
All dog sitting requests should be for INDOOR well mannered and socialized non aggressive dogs (that preferably don't bite). Proof of State of Texas vaccination (documentation) within the last year is absolutely required without any exceptions, and having flea and heartworm protection are preferred. I can actually pick your dog up early, get them to a vet and get them healthy, you happy, and all taken care of as part of my services (extra fees apply) so don't let being a little behind on a yearly checkup slow you down hiring me as we are all busy these days and I can handle that for you.. Please bring your dog reasonably clean so they can be returned that way too.
CHECK IN / CHECK OUT TIME
Check in is after 10AM. Check out is by 12PM Noon of your last day. Extra charges of $35.00 apply for early check in and $35.00 for late pick ups. Please book your reservatation based on those time frames just like a hotel. You may need to book extra days for your dog if you are dropping off early or picking up late. If you pay for early check in or late pickup I make my door and home available almost 24 hours a day to meet your schedule. Midnight no problem, 3 AM is ok, 6AM is fine, 10pm is ok however clients must pay extra for early and late services just like a hotel. Please plan your reservation accordingly and notify me of your schedule and check in and check out needs so I can accomodate you and your dogs(s).
MANDATORY CRATE POLICY:
You must bring a CRATE for your loved ones for their vacay without any exceptions. Our guests are rarely crated however a crate is a necessary part of professional canine care and sometimes and is a prudent safety protocol. Please invest in a crate if you do not have one because your vacay will be refused if you show up without one. Why am I so strict about this? It is for the safety of your dog, my dog, other guest dogs, and other humans checking dogs in and out, or other visitors to the home such as a delivery or maintenance. Some dogs can become nervous and very unpredictable whether your "angel" is 5 pounds or 75 pounds all dogs are territorial and hierarchical pack animals and can suddenly display unforeseable and unpredictable behaviors very suddenly and a crate is a mandatory safety PRECAUTION in rare cases. I never crate an animal unless there is a prudent and specific safety concern for a human or an animal's well being. Why can't I just put a dog in another room? Because an animal did $4000.00 of damage to my home once when placed into a room alone unattend for 15 minutes . Why can't I just put a dog out in the back yard for a few minutes? Would you place your newborn baby unattended in a backyard unattended? I will not do that because I cannot be watching a dog both outside and caring for checking other guests inside and out all at the same time. I can only be in ONE PLACE AT ONE TIME and some guests get nervous around other animals they have not met before. This is about SAFETY, not about keeping your dog in a CAGE and check with any VET or DogVacay Concierge Services and they will tell you that I am 100% valid in my professional approach to safety. I will repeat myself to be clear that crates have rarely ever been used and will be used if needed for a prudent safety reason. Some dogs actually sleep in their crates at their home as their bed and actually prefer to feel safe in their own "house". I no longer provide crates because you need to have the type of crate that is right for you, your dog's breed and personal needs, your storage and transport limits and your budget. And yes my dogs have a crate too. You do not have to bring a crate for a Meet and Greet, only for your Dog's Vacay.
I have a facebook page listed under "Dog's Best Funhouse Houston Texas" which you can visit also.
