About Jessie

9 Years Experience Caring For Dogs
***********************************************************
Aug 09, 2016: Cade and I just attended a class/workshop on wilderness first aid for the dogs (taught by Sage Centers for Veterinary Specialty and Emergency Care)!!! We learned about preventing/treating common injuries (foxtails, pad injuries, skin wounds, ticks, etc), heat stroke, toxicities, snake bites, trauma, and more! Since we take your pups outdoor so much, it feels good knowing how to protect the furry loved ones :)!!!
***********************************************************

I had a dog for 9 years and have been dogsitting for more than a year. I've also fostered the to-be-adopted animals from the human society for a year. Cade (my boyfriend) grew up with five dogs in his family. He's very experienced and loves dogs more than anything. Cade and I love hiking, so we spend a lot of weekends hiking around the Bay Area. When we dogsit, we always bring the dogs with us on hikes or plan our activities based on the dogs' needs. While the dogs are with us, we constantly send updates to the owners to ensure them that their loved ones are having a great time! Together, we provide the dogs the best care!! Our studio is the perfect place for the dogs to just chill and rest after the amount of exciting outdoor activities we offer! Since we usually take dogs from one client at a time and since we don't have any pet of our own, the dogs who love humans more than dogs always have a blast with us! If the owner specifies, we can guarantee that your dog is the only one staying over and can get 100% of our attention and care! (Yep, sometimes sharing is not an option :P!)

On the weekdays, we promise a morning walk, a later afternoon walk, and a night walk before bedtime. The afternoon walk is longer, usually at a dog park, and include fetching, running around, and a lot of sniffing time!

On the weekends and holidays, we spend all our time with the dogs, and this is when the most exciting actions take place! Unless the weather doesn't permit, we always have one major outdoor activity per day! We go to various places around the Bay Area! We may even take them camping or on a road trip with us if the schedule matches up and if the owner agrees!!

For outdoor lovers, we take them on hikes all around the Bay Area (long or short, depending on the dog's energy level), play fetch at dog parks, run free on the beach, and even go camping sometimes!

For snugglers, we enjoy relaxing picnic time, binge watch Netflix in bed, go to drive-in movies, chill at dog friendly coffee shops, and stroll through the neighborhoods!

During the weekdays, we'll be out for work, so the dog will have a few hours unsupervised. However, we have some flexibility in the time we leave for work and come back home. If necessary, we'll leave home later and come home earlier to minimize the dog's time alone! On certain days, Cade will be able to work from home. However, he usually wouldn't know until the week of. If he stays at home, the dog will be with him at all time!

We always follow all feeding and walking instructions of the owner, and we follow their house rules too (whether the dogs are allowed on furniture or sleep in the bed). The owners can receive picture/message updates throughout the stay so you can be sure that your dogs are having a blast!!!

Ready to have your dogs visit us? Your dogs sure are ready :)!!!

It was my first time using a dog sitting service so I was a little scared and unsure what to do or who to trust but Jessie and Cade were both wonderful hosts. They were very accomodating and flexible and catered to the needs of my dog. My dog has some medical issues and they were able to handle the medication regimen with ease. Frequent pictures and updates were sent which gave me ease of mind. The residence is in the downtown San Mateo area so the easiest parking was in the theater parking structure.

Jessie and Cade are amazing! My dog Jeter met them prior to his visit and we were also able to meet another dog that they would be watching during the same time.

Jeter had a great time and by the photos we got, I wasn't sure if he would want to return. It was nice to see that he was getting so much attention. Don't hesitate to give Jessie and Cade a shot. They were so responsible and caring. I could't have asked for better sitters!

Charlie stayed at Jessie's for a few days, and my family and I were able to spend our time without any worries. Cade and Jessie took him on many walks and even went hiking with Charlie; he seemed very satisfied! They would keep us updated on him with many pictures, something we really enjoyed. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We look forward to having Charlie stay with Cade and Jessie soon!
