About Linda

25 Years Experience Caring For Dogs
DogMa's Pooch Palace is an in-home dog-boarding service hosted in the personal dwelling of founder Linda Armstrong, aka, the Top DogMa. Your fur baby will have the run of the house, access to a large backyard with a fence, daily walks (if you prefer), 24/7 love and attention, and a caring, loving guardian to monitor his or her every move and mood.

Linda, who has more than 10 years of experience working with (and fostering) rescue animals, devotes all of her attention to your special fur kid. And her two fun-loving, dog-friendly boxers, Bax and Bogey, understand how to behave around dogs of all sizes and temperaments. They know to be gentle with the little or young, and they understand that seniors sometimes need a little space. :-) (Linda has been boarding dogs for roughly 5 years.)

My husband and I spent months trying to find a sitter who would be patient and understanding with our shy baby, Olive. Olive struggles when meeting new people and deals with a lot of anxiety, so finding a place to board her over the holidays was a new people and deals with a lot of anxiety, so finding a place to board her over the holidays was a total nightmare. We found Linda in January and were able to book a meet-and-greet a few weeks later. Linda was incredibly flexible and communicative, and I felt confident moving forward. Her experience with dogs was obvious from the moment we arrived. Olive was able to (mostly) relax without Linda putting any pressure on her. She went straight for the bin of toys Linda has available for her guests and her boys, Baxter and Bogey. We left the meet-and-greet feeling so relieved. Since then, Olive has spent several days with Linda, and we are so thankful that she understands our slightly neurotic pup. She sent us pictures and text messages every day during our trip and was very open and honest about how Olive was doing. She was comfortable giving Olive her epilepsy medication every 12 hours and did her best to make Olive feel right at home. Olive came home wiped out in a good way, and we hope to board with Linda again in the future. It will take some time for Olive to be 100% comfortable with a sitter, but we have no doubt that Linda gave Olive the best experience possible. Thanks so much!

Linda was very responsive and was great with my puppy. Drop off was super smooth and easy. When I picked up Maggie, she was obviously tired and seemed like she had a fun time playing with Linda's dogs. I highly recommend Linda as a dog sitter.
This was the first time I have left Daisy with anyone for over 24 hours and since the second I dropped Daisy off, I knew she was in good hands. Linda kept me updated with pictures and videos, which showed how happy Daisy was. Linda, thank you so kept me updated with pictures and videos, which showed how happy Daisy was. Linda, thank you so much for taking care of Daisy.
