Twenty three years ago I was looking for a dog friendly home for my 2 four legged girls Natalie, an 85 pound Alaskan Malamute and Silly Sally Sea Shell a Bahamian rescue Shep/Mix, and myself. Ever since my house had been referred to as the Doggy House because it is so dog friendly. It has hardwood floors, a front patio that leads to a long doggie run on the side of the house, completely closed in, allowing them to move freely in and out as they please. It has a bonus back yard as well, and plenty of wonderful parks in the neighborhood if you wish them to be walked.
My last dog Maggie, a rescued runt Shep/Husky mix, passed a few years ago at 16, leaving the Doggy House longing for wagging tails to once again enjoy it, and leaving me with the time and much love to bestow on your pets. Having had to travel quite a bit in the past, I fully understand the challenges that come with finding a safe and loving home away from home for them while you are away. I am highly responsible and conscious of the importance of their routines not being broken as to minimize stress on them. I also have extensive experience with special needs, senior, and with administering medications if required. I would love to have this opportunity to care for your four legged companions and offer you the peace of mind needed to fully enjoy your time away.
By profession I am a writer and therefore accustomed to spending my time at home.
Please feel free to contact me with any further questions and/or to arrange a Meet-n- Greet
