About Jennifer

3 Years Experience Caring For Dogs
I've had a dog since I was 6 years old. Before I got married, my last dog, Chortee, may he RIP, was my best friend. He went with me everywhere! College classes, dates, movie theater and even Dodger games to name a few. I'm patient, I'm kind and I can attend to their needs. I'm a Medical Social Worker and my job is flexible. I'm also not afraid to assist a dog that needs medical care. My family and I treat dogs like family so you can rest assure your dog will feel loved.

I have enough space in my back yard for your dog to run around in. My yard is fenced and the gate is always locked. I also live about a mile away from the dog park. We live in a very friendly neighborhood with lots of dog owners. I have one dog, her name is Casey. She is spayed, friendly and super sweet. She gets along well with other dogs.

There is always someone at home, whether it is me, my husband, my mother or in-laws. I also have 3 kids that will give your pooch ALOT of attention. My husband, my kids and I are all a team. We work together to provide tender, love and care for your pooch. Your pet will not be alone and will be loved by all.

BOOKINGS:

Please note that on major Holidays, I will charge $48/night for boarding. I am flexible with cancellations.

DROP OFF / PICK UPS:

I am flexible with drop off and pick up times. HOWEVER, I do expect owners to pick up around the same time you dropped off. Overnight stays are for a 24 hour period. If it is not possible to pick up at the same time you dropped off, I will charge an extra fee depending on the time. Please ask me and I will let you know.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING:

I ask that owners bring enough food to last for their stay and any snacks that you may want me to give. Please bring their bowls, their bed or blanket and any favorite toy or chew toy they may have. I also ask that you write down their feeding schedule and any other relevant information that I should know. (Emergency Contacts, Pet Hospital, Vet info). Dog Vacay provides a sheet that you can fill out.

If you have any questions or other concerns, feel free to ask me. I am super flexible and my main priority is for your pooch to feel like they are at home and on vacation as well.

Jennifer was great, she was very accommodating and answered all of our questions. Charlie seemed very happy at her house.
Jennifer and her family are very nice. There was an unfortunate mistake that I'm sure they feel very badly about, and I hope won't happen again to another family, but it's only fair that I share my experience.

I was in Vegas during my dog's stay with this host. I left him there on a friday evening. Saturday afternoon, ariound 3:30pm, my normal dogsitter (who was all booked up for that weekend, which is why she wasn't watching him during this visit) contacted me asking me "Did you find Sancho?" (Sancho is my dog). Long story short, the normal sitter happened to see a community post for lost / found pets on Facebook. Someone found Sancho at 12:30pm. I called Jennifer to see what had happened and at the time of my call, she hadn't even noticed that Sancho had been missing for three hours :( The lady who found him was very nice and took care of him and went through the trouble to take him to the humane society, who ran his chip and also contacted me shortly after my normal sitter informed me that Sancho had been found.

The explanation given to me was that Jennifer has two small childen and one of them must have left their gate open and Sancho escaped. I was also told that Sancho enjoyed a patch of grass in the back yard in the sun, so they let him stay back there which is why they hadn't noticed he was gone. Three hours is a long time, however, to not realize a dog that you're looking after is gone.

Nice family, I feel weird leaving negative feedback. But this happened.

Jennifer helped me out on very short notice. She was prompt, friendly, and gave my pup the good walk/exercise she needed. Will definitely use again.
