About Brooke

15 Years Experience Caring For Dogs
I just recently lost my last dog of 15 years. After having three dogs for more than a decade I am looking to have some quality puppy time. My experience: I had three rescue dogs, 2 pit bulls and an Australian Cattle Dog. All of them were not pups when I got them but they all lived very long happy lives. Over the last two years I lost them all. During that time I learned special diets for Renal failure and diabetes. I gave insulin injections and tested blood sugar, I gave oral medication and for a brief time even changed dog diapers. Sounds like a sad picture, but truly an act of love and dedication for my best friends.

I have a lot of love to give and I know how important dogs are to their family. I do feel that these experiences have made me a better dog owner and I'm quite the expert on reading blood work.

I have a fenced in yard and my house is all one floor. Because my dogs were seniors I have some runners and carpets to make walking easier. If your dog isn't house trained too good it's not a big deal to pull up the carpets temporarily.

I'm not ready to commit to another dog, but I'd love to give your dog(s) all the love I have!

I am a professional in my thirties with a great job, I am responsible and reliable. I live with my boyfriend and a housemate and all three of us have had dogs our whole lives. We would love to watch your dog!

I could always count on Brooke to watch over my dog without having a worry. She was the loving owner of three happy dogs who had long, wonderful lives. She is a friend to all animals and a devoted guardian.

Brooke has a deep love and affection for all animals. She is able to understand what animals are thinking and feeling and communicates very effectively with them. She had three very well-behaved and loving dogs before they each passed on from the illness that old age brings. She always took the utmost care of them in sickness and in health: the dogs always came first. When Brooke has an animal companion, she regards herself as the caretaker and is wholly and fully responsible for that animal's well-being. She would take her dogs on hikes and to the beach and the dog park. She would rush home on her lunch break from work to take care of them. She also took care of my family's dog when we were on vacation. And the dogs were happy and safe during that time.
When her three dogs became seniors and had health problems, Brooke saw to their special needs. She gave one of her dogs who was very sick insulin injections every day and carefully and lovingly monitored his blood and kept a diary to track his wellness. She took him to more than one veterinarian to make sure she got the full prognosis and also reached out to other dog owners who were taking care of dogs with similar health issues in order to provide the best care.
She also fostered two dogs and she was able to help place them in safe and loving homes.
If you are considering Brooke as a pet sitter, you can rest assured that she will do a wonderful job.

Brooke would make an excellent Dog sitter. She has been a proud owner of three dogs for the many years I have known her. Unfortunately they have passed on due to old age, but as very empathetic and kind person who loves animals I know she will take the utmost care of any animal in her care. As someone who cares deeply about all animals, I cannot recommend her more highly for this position.

I am so happy I found Brooke!! My dog was very well taken care of by her, and I could tell how much she cares about the dogs in her care. She kept in contact with me the entire time I was away, and sent me pictures daily. I cannot say enough positive things about her. I also loved the fact that her home is very pet friendly with a really nice fenced in yard. I will definitely use her again!

My 1years old boy(Yorkshire Terrier mix)had a great time with Brooke. This was the first time my dog stayed at someone's home. Brooke set up a meet-n-greet on short notice and she showed me her house. She also had a big dog which had slept over the previous night and she managed both dogs very well. She is very friendly and caring. She sent us up to date pictures and videos while I was away.So I could see my dog. The price is very reasonable. I'm satisfied with the care and I'll ask her again when I need to.

Brooke is the best sitter, EVER! She's had 3 dogs of her own, and her professional skills are remarkable! My dog runs up to her home (all smiles) and the same happens when I pick him up. That's all I need to know to prove the best stay and board! Brooke asks questions, feeds him at given times, walks and plays with him. She is your ideal Petsitter! Look no further! Simba and I are extremely happy with all of her services!
