I just recently lost my last dog of 15 years. After having three dogs for more than a decade I am looking to have some quality puppy time. My experience: I had three rescue dogs, 2 pit bulls and an Australian Cattle Dog. All of them were not pups when I got them but they all lived very long happy lives. Over the last two years I lost them all. During that time I learned special diets for Renal failure and diabetes. I gave insulin injections and tested blood sugar, I gave oral medication and for a brief time even changed dog diapers. Sounds like a sad picture, but truly an act of love and dedication for my best friends.
I have a lot of love to give and I know how important dogs are to their family. I do feel that these experiences have made me a better dog owner and I'm quite the expert on reading blood work.
I have a fenced in yard and my house is all one floor. Because my dogs were seniors I have some runners and carpets to make walking easier. If your dog isn't house trained too good it's not a big deal to pull up the carpets temporarily.
I'm not ready to commit to another dog, but I'd love to give your dog(s) all the love I have!
I am a professional in my thirties with a great job, I am responsible and reliable. I live with my boyfriend and a housemate and all three of us have had dogs our whole lives. We would love to watch your dog!
