About Amanda

2 Years Experience Caring For Dogs
My dog Pascal and I would love to watch and play with your dog! We also work on training while your dog is with us whether that is starting the basics, learning whistle recall, or continuing to practice well known commands.

I am a pet enthusiast and have a dog and aquatic turtle. I am a big fan of spoiling my dog and taking walks in the neighborhood or around the lakes.

I live in S Minneapolis and all pets are treated as part of the family. A fully fenced in yard for playtime and couches to lay on in the house.

I volunteer as a dog foster for Wags and Whiskers primarily with Bully Breeds.

Why I love dog sitting
I have been a dog lover my entire life however as a child I was not allowed to have one of my own. It didn't stop me from playing and walking any dog I could of friends and neighbors. I have experience with labs, huskies, standard poodles, and pitbulls. I recently rescued my pitbull Pascal.

About my yard
The backyard is fully fenced with a grass area and a patio area.

My experience administering medication
I can administer oral medication and flee/tick medication if needed.

Glacier had another wonderful stay with Amanda! We feel very confident leaving her with Amanda and her pack. Amanda allowed us an early morning drop off and an late evening pick up after our long day in the car driving back from Montana. Glacier always has a great time playing wth whatever dogs are in Amanda's pack at the time as well as her resident dog Pascal. When we dropped her off, Glacier had not been feeling great but Amanda assured us she would take care of her regardless and when we picked her up, she was back to her normal self. We are bringing her back next weekend for another stay when we're out of town and very much recommend Amanda for dog watching.

As a dog vacay host, I am very picky who we leave our dogs with. Amanda was fantastic with Glacier and we will definitely be booking again with her. She had two other foster dogs, (plus her own dog who Glacier met back in November at the meet and greet), which were in the house when our dog was there, so she had constant playmates and was very happy and tired when we picked her up. Amanda sent us photo updates almost every day, and ensured us that Glacier was doing well. She got daily exercise whether in the form of a walk, or play time with the other dogs. This was Glaciers first time away from home on a vacay, and we couldn't be happier with how it went. Amanda was honest and told us of even the smallest details since we were concerned it was her first stay in a new place. We definitely recommend Amanda for a great place to have your dog stay!

Amanda was very easy to get ahold of to arrange drop-off and pick-up, and though we were only away a weekend, she made sure we got a photo update of our dog while we were gone. Our dog was well taken-care-of and was clearly well-exercised as she has done nothing but sleep since we got home!
