Video Chat Empty Nesters
We charge $43 a night for each dog.
My husband and I, a writer and production editor in educational publishing, office in our home, so we are home most of the time to give attention to and care for dogs. We share our Skype and Apple Face Time with our dogs and their owners during their stay. We can walk the dogs in our neighborhood park, and we have a large, grassy, tick- and flea-free backyard to play yard games with the dogs so that they receive daily exercise. We also allow the dogs to be free in the house with us without being caged. We encourage snuggling beside us on the sofa for a nap while we read or work. We do not smoke, and so the dogs in our home will not be subjected to second-hand smoke.
We offer routine services such as walking, playing, and taking dogs for checkups as part of the activities of pet ownership. Therefore, our flat rate includes all these services and more. We do not charge extra for them.
We have been dog owners most of our lives, and so we are accustomed to and welcome doggie love. Our motto is to care for them, spoil them, and send them home to their owners—just like grandchildren.
