My name is Caitlin and I am a Biology student at the University of North Alabama. I graduate in May 2017 and would like to spend the next year working with dogs and cats (and other animals, too) of most breeds. I have had experience caring for my own and other people’s pets for ten years and absolutely love what I do. I live in a highly accessible townhouse with ceramic tile flooring and no stairs or hazardous obstacles, perfect for boarding. I also have a 1-year old cat, Poseidon.
The typical day at the house consists of a morning walk with maybe a trip to the park (weather permitting), another walk around lunch and another walk in the evening. Depending on your pet’s needs, we can also go for a run as I love to stay physically fit and advocate for excellent animal health as well. Feeding is tailored to the individual so I will expect those instructions to be given to me by drop-off. Ideally, your pet should behave well around other animals (Poseidon) as he absolutely loves meeting and playing with new dogs and cats! :)
I consider myself an extremely loving animal advocate and have volunteer experience with Peta along with other organizations that advocate for animal rights, etc. I take my job very seriously and am grateful that I have the opportunity to share this. I look forward to meeting your furbaby!
