I have loved animals since I was small. My dad took us to see the elephants as soon as the circus came to town, horses at the local barns and we always had dogs. My mom was a bird lover. My dad rescued one dog that a neighbor had left out in the snow all winter. We had her for six years with out other dog until her passing. As I had my own family, we had pets of all kinds: hamsters, ginuea pigs, rats, parakeets, cats and dogs. Four years ago as I semi retired, my last pet crossed over and I have missed not having a furry friend. I live alone and since then I started pet sitting for my friends to fill the gap. Soon, I wanted to turn this into a full time business. I am home most of the day so I can give your pet a lot of love, playing, walks, snuggling, attention etc. If they have special needs, I will give them the care that they need and be very compassionate. I only take one families pets at a time and encourage couch sitting and even sleeping in bed with me. I like to make it a "going to grandma's house"experience. I have a lot of cats too but always keep them inside. I live at the edge of a golf course with large mature trees. My garden apartment has a large patio with yard in front and on the side. As I am on the end, all the pets seem to enjoy watching people walking their dogs, birds in my birdbath and at the feeder along with the occasional squirrel or bunny. This is a very pet friendly community with lots of sidewalks for our outings and lots of foliage. There is a 25 pound maximum weight. Your pet will have a one on one home atmosphere will all of my attention and caring. Belly rubs are always on the menu. I can provide great references. Thank you for considering me.
