About Sandy

50 Years Experience Caring For Dogs
Hello, I have been caring for dogs for over 50 years, (yes I started as a child) I love all the shapes and sizes. My home is large and comfortable. I walk every day early morning and evening around the neighborhood, or we can go to a dog park in cooler weather. Indoor playtime at home includes: Play ball - mid morning and mid afternoon, chew the bone, tummy rubs and ear scratches as needed, and Tricks for Treats. I am able to supervise your dog-child 24/7 and provide transportation to an appointment or a vet in case of an emergency.

I also offer: Bathing, additional walks, care for elderly or disabled dogs. Inquire within about these additional services! I'm excited to meet you and your fur-child!

My dog Chase had a fantastic time with Sandy! She took such good care of him and even woke up several times in the middle of the night to let him out since, as a geriatric dog, he can no longer hold it throughout the night.

She took Chase on multiple walks per day and spoiled him with treats and belly rubs and butt scratches.

I would highly recommend Sandy to anyone! I will definitely call Sandy when I go out of town again.

She replies promptly and she gives text updates with pictures every single day.

As owners of a 'special needs furbaby' we approached our travel plans carefully. We began with interviewing hosts and we were diligent with finding a match. Our furbaby suffers from terrible separation anxieity, seizures, and requires 24/7 care along with medication delivery several times a day.

We completed a meet and greet with our pup and even scheduled several additonal visits just to warm him up to his potential caregiver. From first meeting it was clear that if anyone could care for our baby... Sandy was most certainly a great candidate and the one we ultimately decided to put all our trust.

So the day finally came for our weekend getaway, we dropped the baby off, with care lists in hand, favorite toys, and a plethora of other things to the kindest most caring woman we could find. With lumps in our throat we slowly backed the car out of her drive thinking that there was still time to change our mind...but we knew that a few days away would do 'us' good, so we took the dive & off we went. Within the first hour Sandy checked in with us to assure us that he was doing okay which was very much appreciated. Then she followed up with text messages and photos of our pup at play. This communication continued right up to the time we picked him up - happy and healthy.

We know we found someone special that would love our out little guy as much as we do and that he was in the best place outside of his own home! Thank you Sandy... your simply the best!

Delighted.
All I can say is Sandy is AWESOME! She took care of my two dogs for 9 days and one had special needs. Rowdy is diabetic and blind and she kept to his normal routine and administered two insulin shots daily. When Sandy came for meet and greet she made me so comfortable about leaving them knowing she understood their excersise, dietery, and medication schedules. She sent pictures and updates thru out her stay. I came home to HAPPY pups and a clean home just as I had left it . I would highly recommend Sandy to anyone if they want there fur baby or babies to be loved and well cared for and have no stress about there well being! Thanks again Sandy and if Rowdy and Chico ever need a pet sitter again we will give you a call

Sandy did a great job of taking care of Mikey while we were away. He was happy, well cared for and we will definitely book with Sandy again. Loved that she sent me photos regularly so I could see how he was doing.
Sandy was absolutely amazing from the very beginning! I felt horrible asking the night before if she could watch him the very next day but she took our dog, Scout, on short notice and was very thankful for that!! :) She sent pictures and updated me on how he was doing during the day. I could tell Scout was getting spoiled and that he loved his day with Sandy. It was the first time we left him alone with someone that we didn't know, and Sandy made me feel extremely comfortable. I would definitely go back to her whenever we needed a sitter again :)

Sandy is absolutely fantastic! We would love to use her services again, if needed. Not only were we at ease after our meet and greet, but Sandy sent pictures daily and updates. When we came home, our house was immaculate and the dogs were so happy and obviously well loved while we were gone. Sandy was even able to give our special pup her daily medications without issue. We would highly recommend her for any of your dog needs! Thank you again, Sandy!

She took lots of pictures and I felt completely comfortable what a relief thanks Sandy
Sandy was very good with Cody and she sent me a picture everyday. I was worried about leaving him as I never had but everything went great. I would call her again if I need a sitter. Alice A.
Couldn't be more pleased. Sparky really seemed content when I picked him up. Much better then boarding at vet or pet store.
Sandy gave Moose excellent care and gave us peace of mind. She is very knowledgeable, observant and communicates well. We (Moose, too) are very pleased to have found her!
Sandy was great. My dog loved her and when I picked her up I could tell that she had a great time with Sandy. She's a very nice lady who is easy and fair to work with. I will use her again.
