4. Emily S.
“I adopted my 85 lb German Shepherd-Pitbull mutt from my fiancée's family. A poorly-socialized pandemic puppy, Gibbs wasn't exposed to the world enough, and now he is uncertain in all unfamiliar scenarios, especially meeting new people. Although I've worked hard to widen his horizons, I still can't kennel board him when I vacation. Emily Surges has been able to overlook my project dog's least people-friendly behaviors. She is now one of the few people outside of my family he recognizes as a friend. She never does anything to put her or Gibbs in danger and were anything to seem even slightly out of order I know she would let me know in an instant.”
5. Crystal H.
“Crystal is fantastic! She is genuine and reliable and just a really great person. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her and will absolutely be having her walk Bella again. It’s great to feel free to know that your pet is well cared for. My dog loves everybody, but she really took a shine to Crystal, probably because of her calm and kind manner with her! I hope you reach out to her if you’re looking for a trustworthy and reliable individual.”

About: I’ve had dogs and cats my entire life! I’ve also had a few friends and family rely on me to let their pups outside, go for walks, or just have a little hangout time while their owners are away :) I’m currently working part-time at a senior living facility, and want to spend some of my down time with your precious pets :) I have some availability during the week as well as some weekends! At home, I have 1 cat and 2 dogs. My cat is incredibly fussy when it comes to drinking water, so I always make sure he is staying hydrated. Whatever unique preferences your pets have, I am willing to accommodate to make them as comfortable as possible!
11. Bridget K.
“Bridget cared for our anxious pup, Zelda, for a week over the holidays. Our doggo does not like new people and had never been apart from our family for more than 24 hours at a time. Not only did Zelda fall in love with Bridget, but my family and I felt reassured by Bridget's daily check-ins and photos. She followed the instructions we left for her down to the last detail. She is a responsible, diligent caregiver and a delightful person to work with. I can unreservedly recommend Bridget and will be using her services again in the future.”

About: I’ve been an animal lover my entire life and am commonly dubbed “the animal whisperer” amongst friends and family. I grew up with a zoo of animals- dogs, a cat, a lizard, guinea pigs, birds, many, MANY fish, and even a spider! I worked at a doggie daycare for 1.5 years and an animal shelter (that had dogs, cats, and even rats!) for 1.5 years as well. In that time I’ve developed skills in feeding, walking, caring for, playing with, first aid, grooming, and even measuring and administering medication to furry friends of all shapes and sizes. In my time working with animals I’ve met some of the friendliest fur balls, ones with special needs (blind, deaf, missing legs, you name it), and even the more grumpy guys. I’m currently a college student as well as an athlete. My schedule tends to vary from week to week but always have the time to work in some much needed dog and cat time before, between, and after classes (and free weekends!) I live by the saying where you should leave places nicer than they were when you arrived. If your fur babies have any accidents they will be picked up ASAP! I only touch what I am told to and only go in rooms I am instructed to go into.
13. Morgan D.
“Morgan is very caring and responsible when it comes to animals/pets. I have known her for many years and when she is tasked with anything to do with animals, she makes sure to overachieve and do everything with great care. She loves animals a lot and has been around them for her whole life, so she knows what to do for them! Morgan would be a great caretaker for your animal if you pick her!”
14. Tawni H.
“Tawni has cared for our dog Boo several times when we have gone on trips out of town for a few days. Our dog stays at her house and enjoys her time there. Tawni is really good about giving updates and sending pictures. Tawni has a good heart and takes care of them like they are her kids.”
15. Kenna Ann e.
About: Hello I am Kenna and I grew up on a farm and have been around animals my whole life. I’ve worked with dog trainers and have had dogs since I was little! Pets are family and I want them to feel loved and I want to help you care for your furry friend! I work throughout the week but I work only early mornings and then only short afternoon shifts. So if I plan to board your animal I can arrange my schedule for that! I also am able to walk dogs early mornings or later in the day! I hope to make the pet feel safe and loved at all times. So establishing trust is my first step. I then want to make them comfortable and keep them engaged in activities.
16. Natalie M.
“Hello, I am Rachel, Natalie’s older sister and recommending Natalie for this position. Growing up she has always loved animals big or small. Our family cat, who has since passed, was an older cat and Natalie was her favorite. She would play, feed and take care of the litter box and did a wonderful job. The family also had a dog growing up and Natalie was more than happy to take him for walks, play in the yard and give him all the love. Natalie has also had pet hamsters, fish and rats which she all loved dearly. She has since grown up and now has two cats of her own that she loves like her own children. Natalie does research on how to give her cats a better and richer life. For instance, raised food dishes for better digestion and toys that stimulate their playful energy. Natalie would be a wonderful part of the Rover team. She is a responsible young adult who strives for excellence in everything she does.”
17. Nicole K.
About: To be completely honest, I was deathly afraid of dogs when I was a child. But since my family got our puppy in 2015, my love of dogs has skyrocketed. Now when I see a dog, I have this intuition to pet them, with permission of course. So with my care, there will always be love in the air! A little fun fact about me is that I love to go for walks. So watch out furry friends, the feeling of being worn out is coming your way! I am a full-time student, however, I do have time during the day on Monday, Wednesday, and Fridays to hang around with your furry friends! My time range is from 11-3:30. Or perhaps you’re stuck at work late in the night, and your dog or cat has been crossing their legs to use the bathroom, and I am more than welcome to stop by and take them outside any night of the week (after 6 pm)! Just like people, your animal should have food, water, and exercise. I will take your dogs and/or cats on walks and make sure their dishes are filled with water. And give them lots of pets as well, because what animal doesn’t like a little love?
18. Grace C.
“Grace has taken care of my dog for a weekend. I came home to a happy and healthy puppy. Every time she is around my dog always goes right to her and cuddles up , plays or gives kisses because she has provided extraordinary care to my precious fur baby. I highly recommend her services for your pet.”

About: I grew up with dogs and adopted a dog of my own about a year ago. I absolutely adore him and I discovered through him that I am passionate about giving animals the proper care they deserve. That’s why I’m here, to give your pups the proper care they deserve! I am willing to continue any training you use yourself, however I personally only use positive reinforcement unless directed otherwise. I work at a Crisis Hotline so I’d love to blow off some steam playing with pups! My dog is on a routine that can easily accommodate your pups needs. We go for a walk/potty break every morning around 9:30AM, followed by breakfast and meds and we go for walk/potty break every evening around 6PM, followed by dinner and playtime. I play it by ear the rest of the day depending on what my dog wants to do (and the weather)! I currently work overnight part time (9PM-3AM) and I am in grad school so my schedule is a bit all over the place, but I am available many mornings, afternoons, and evenings throughout the week and weekend. Starting in December/January, I will be working overnights from home. I can be pretty flexible overall! I live in a one bedroom apartment with just myself and my dog. We go for at least 2 walks a day around the neighborhood.
