Walks around the neighborhood or to a state park if a discovery pass is provided to use while accompanying owners pet and will be returned at the end of each service. Trips to play at the dog parks, but only if dog is socialized. If dog is not socialized, warning must be given so that precautions may be taken. Owner will provide a written statement to me ensuring their responsibility for the pet, thus releasing me from all liability if anything were to happen to another individual or myself, human or animal.

Strolling through a quiet neighborhood, casual hiking around the bowl and pitcher, or a walk about the park. Letting the dog(s) enjoy the fresh air in their fur, the smells tingling their little nose senses and al the different feels for their paws. If the dog is high energy and needs something a little more energetic, that's doable as well. I'm willing to cater to what the dog needs/wants.

If you have more than one dog I am willing to take them all. I love small, medium, or large dogs, pups or old ones to take on a walk. I enjoy walk in the park and would not mind taking your dog/pup there too.

I would go at least a mile or two however long they need it for the day.

We would head to a park probably and play around . Be active and walk a good distance depending on how the dog is responding. We would be walking solo and try to find areas that are less crowded by cars and people so that it is easier to run about. Depending on how fast the dog likes to walk I will pace the walk based on their energy and needs.

I will be walking no more than 1 big dog OR 2 small dogs at a time since i will be bringing my 4 month old son out on the walks with me. I will be making sure I keep dogs out of high traffic areas just for the safety of the animals which is why I will walk mostly residential areas or at local parks. If your dog needs more activity than just a good walk, I am happy to take them out on hiking trails where they can get a little more exercise.

We can walk the neighborhood where their home is, or can go to the park. I'd be happy to walk 2 dogs at the same time. Anyplace they can get some exercise and explore new smells. If there dogs are current on shots we can go to a dog park. If they listen well, I know a field I can take them to for some running.

I will provide a leisurely or active (Depending on the dog's activity level.) walk in your neighborhood for your dog. We will walk in light snow and rain.

All dogs need to be on a leash and if need be dog may need to be on a training harness. This helps to gently train a dog not to pull. I do not use muzzles as I feel these cause more anxiety in animals. I ask that all dogs have a collar with tags on and be spayed or neutered.

Leisurely walks with my dog around the neighborhood or a nearby park. Normally I walk in what would make a circle around the home, so we will end up coming back home from the opposite direction from where we left. This way, we can travel through different sceneries and enjoy different views.

Have a fur baby that LOVES the dog park or chasing that ball? Off-Leash park visits can be accommodated if requested, once your companion is comfortable with me. Solo walks are preferable but multiple dogs can be done as long as dogs are from same home. Your fur baby and their energy will be taken care of, GUARANTEED!!
Have a favorite ball or toy they go bananas over? That can come too! :) Treats are given along walks, as long as approved by owner.
Baths, nail trims and anal glands are also an option upon requested.

Top tips for getting started with a dog walker in Spokane

  1. Look for a dog walker who has passed a background check.
  2. Ask a DogVacay dog walker for a free Meet-n-Greet. Take your pet for a short stroll in Spokane, letting the dog walker hold the leash. You’ll know quickly if this is the right person for your pet.
  3. Then visit your home with the dog walker, so your pet becomes comfortable with this person in the dog’s territory.
  4. Make plans for letting the DogVacay dog walker into your home. Some people may feel comfortable providing a key. Others keep a key in a combination lockbox. Many people use smart locks and programmable key codes.
  5. Discuss the length and route of the walk in your neighborhood in Spokane. Cover what kind of updates you want (such as a “bathroom” log or behavior notes).
  6. Explain what your treat policy is after a walk. Keep treats safely stored, and let the dog walker know where to find them.
  7. Make sure your pet has the right harnesses, collars, leashes and equipment for a safe and fun walk.
