I usually give my dog a leisurely walk, I don't rush him because I want him to experience everything he wants to experience and have potty time as well. I prefer to take one dog at a time, but if the dogs get along, I'll take them all. I usually just walk my dog in the neighborhood but if I know of a dog park nearby (or any park for that matter), ill usually take him there. It makes me so happy
to know that Louie (my dog) gets so much pleasure out of a walk and he can run and sniff everything he wants. He has his own world to experience and learns something from each time. If a dog, however, does not get along with mine, I have no problem taking him out on his own and making sure he/she gets all the fresh air they need. I usually take my dog out in the morning and evening. Sometimes I walk him once, but I let him outside a lot on him own (I have a gated from yard). It really depends on the dog and how they’ve been trained. I don’t have any problem adjusting my “walking routine”, as long as the dog(s) get what need out of it. I’ve had my dog for over 2 years now and had a dog before that for 3 years, whom I see once every good while (sisters dog), and they have completely different routines and I’m okay with that.
