She usually runs and hides when new people try to leash or pet her. One of my dogs uses a regular leash and the other a gentle lead. About: I’ve had dogs and taken care of them my entire life starting with 2 rescue dogs growing up. I now have a rescue dog and rescue cat of my own! I have fostered several rescue puppies while they were waiting for adoption. I was a professional dog walker and doggy daycare attendant in college and still love to care for animals when I can. I am a full time professional who works from home am I can do drop ins and walks. I also have full availability on weekends. I have a fully fenced in yard and my dog is very friendly with other animals. Entering your home, I am respectful of your dogs boundaries and am comfortable leashing them or putting them in a crate if needed.

About: Former groomer at a local pet salon and longtime pet owner. Currently laid-off from the Laborers Union. Available 24/7 any day of the week. Ask about at Grooming, Training, Exercise - (bathing, teeth cleaning, brushing, blow dry, nails, ear cleaning, commands, leash pulling, door dashing, chewing etc.) As a current pet owner, pet care is part of the regular routine. Feeding 2x per day and daily exercise. Working part-time nights but w/ a flexible schedule. Can make myself available at any time of the day or evening. Cannot guarantee availability IF requests are left pending, which pets, or how many will be accepted w/o final approval. Rescheduled Meet and Greets are not available. - Fenced yard and 100ft cable runner - 1 friendly dog to keep yours plenty of company (or separate if preferred). - Conveniently, safely, located away from central traffic w/ access to route 146 and less than a mile away from animal hospital. - Easy Pickup and drop off (front door). - Spare rooms for feeding, playing, training

“Emily is incredibly helpful and thoughtful when it came to taking care of my cat Kiki. Kiki was 14 years old and required medicine two times a day in her old age and Emily treated her so nicely gave her all the love I couldn’t give her while I was out of town. She made sure that she received her medicine as needed and would send periodic updates and lots of photos, so I knew Kiki was in good hands and could be trusted under Emilys care. Would highly recommend Emily to anyone looking for someone who will take really great care of their pet.”

About: My family got their first dog when I was around 12 years old and I have always had a hand in raising and training all of our dogs. I have worked with the SPCA as a dog walker and have experience with all sizes and ages of dogs I currently work on second shift during the week so I do not go into work until 2pm so I am free in the morning and early afternoon. I also have weekends and some holidays off I am very comfortable with all sizes and ages of dogs. From dogs that want to sniff every blade of grass, those that want a long fast paced walk, and those that want a potty break and then right back inside into the comfort of home.

“Growing up Ashton has had experience with taking care of a variety of family pets including dogs, cats, bunnies, bearded dragon, chickens and Rats. He has also helped me with fostering many dogs and cats throughout the years. Several times he has stayed home with our family pets while I was out of town. During this time he was responsible for feeding, walking, cleaning the litterbox and giving meds to one of our dogs. It has been a joy to have someone do dedicated to helping with the family pets and that we trust to leave them with while out of town.”

About: I’ve professional worked with animals for about 6 years on and off. I worked at Petsmart for a while and now currently have worked at a doggy daycare for 2 years. I’ve also volunteered at shelters to walk and interact with adoptable dogs as well. I am cpr certified and I can do oral meds if needed. I’m also able to do baths if needed as well! I have two dogs of my own... they both love other dogs but as always I do slow introductions if your comfortable with them all playing together. If your not I can always keep them separated I have 2 yards. I’m currently working full time so my hours are mostly on weekends. When everything switches to part-time for good I’ll have plenty of time to walk and visiting all the dogs!! Walking your dog is one service I offer and we’d go walking all around for a minimal of 30 minutes. It’s great for your dog to get out a decent amount of time during the day. I also offer stop in visits to take the dog(s) out, to play and if there’s a meal I can do that too. We’d go outside. So the dog can go potty then we can go inside or stay outside play for a little bit. Depends on weather because we don’t want a cold or wet doggy! As a side note!!! If you ever want to do boarding where I take out the dogs throughout the day and do meals but the dog does fine alone at night until early morning… that can always be an option too! I usual go to take dogs out and breakfast around 6-7am when I offer this. Ik it can be uncomfortable for your dog to come to someone’s house but also can be uncomfortable for someone staying overnight! Which again is completely okay and understandable! Only suggesting cuz some of my dog sitting clients prefer that better! It’s just an option if that’s more comfortable to start off with!
