I can do leisurely, active, multiple or solo dogs. I'm a very active person and enjoy running, so that is always an option. I can take them to dog parks. I can walk long distances, up to 5 miles or more. I am available during evenings 7 days a week and during the day on Wednesdays, Fridays and weekends.

I would be more than happy to walk multiple dogs for leisurely activity, to go to the bathroom during the day, to give dogs a break from being indoors, to exercise the dogs, to play and have fun. I am more than happy to use the time to clean up the dogs yard and take the dogs to the dog park if there is one that is accessible.

I will customize the walk to the needs of your dog. I am willing to run or walk with dogs and am able to walk multiple dogs at a time if needed! I live right across from a great dog park and love to take dogs there to socialize and play frisbee/catch.

Walks in the park, running, playing fetch, can walk multiple dogs, type of walk depends on owner, location depends on owner, i enjoy taking them on long walks in green areas, parks and etc.. the walks and excercise depend on the dogs age and health, the weather as well, on nice spring and fall days, also not too hot or too cold winter and summer days, the walks will be longer with activities on the walks. The length of the walk and location will be the owners choice.

Leisurely when they enjoy slow and steady. Active, a trip to the dog park or around the neighborhood, a quick play in the yard, or even a jog. Multiple only if requested. I would rather spend one on one time and/or take separate trips to give each dog undivided attention. Solo preferrably! =)

My walks are leisurely yet long and I am able to walk multiple dogs as well as one. My own dog tended to pull on her leash a lot, so I can control stronger dogs who pull on their leashes. I am able to walk the dogs several times a day around the neighborhood, enough so that the dog gets exercise.

Commencing with the 2013 year Formula SAE Competition, a new integrated business/design concept summary is to be submitted by all teams, 6-9 months ahead of the competition. This summary (entitled The FSAE Business Logic Case) should not be an onerous task and will assist teams to follow an integrated systems approach. In order to give students the maximum benefit, it is intended that this task is completed before the design process is engaged with the objective to define an integrated overall vehicle concept with consideration of but not limited to: vehicle performance, cost and target market.

It will assist students understanding of, and correlation with, the real world approach to vehicle design, whereby a Total Systems Overview and Vehicle Level Targets are developed (Cost; Price; Profit; Volume; Performance), and a sanity check completed, before any detail design is undertaken. This approach can help avoid conflicts later in the design process between systems and ensure realistic targets for your total vehicle are set which can then be deployed into the function and cost targets for each of the vehicle Systems and Sub-Systems.

I take my two german shepard lab mixes for a 3 mile active walk every night, weather permitting, stopping at the local park to throw the tennis ball with them for around ten minutes in the middle of the walk then continuing. I also take my neighbor's dog and close family friend's dog for a leisurely one to two mile walk around our neighborhood, weather permitting when asked.

Typically the walks are very leisurely that may include my medium-size dog, Nesta. I like to keep a moderate pace (3-3.5 miles per hour). I enjoy jogging so if the dog likes to run I can certainly be accommodating. I have a supply of poop bags and always bring water just in case.

Top tips for getting started with a dog walker in Pittsburgh

  1. Look for a dog walker who has passed a background check.
  2. Ask a DogVacay dog walker for a free Meet-n-Greet. Take your pet for a short stroll in Pittsburgh, letting the dog walker hold the leash. You’ll know quickly if this is the right person for your pet.
  3. Then visit your home with the dog walker, so your pet becomes comfortable with this person in the dog’s territory.
  4. Make plans for letting the DogVacay dog walker into your home. Some people may feel comfortable providing a key. Others keep a key in a combination lockbox. Many people use smart locks and programmable key codes.
  5. Discuss the length and route of the walk in your neighborhood in Pittsburgh. Cover what kind of updates you want (such as a “bathroom” log or behavior notes).
  6. Explain what your treat policy is after a walk. Keep treats safely stored, and let the dog walker know where to find them.
  7. Make sure your pet has the right harnesses, collars, leashes and equipment for a safe and fun walk.
