I love animals and staying active, I love to walk, run, jog, and play fetch with the dog/dogs. The maximum number of dogs I can watch and walk with would be two. I can walk the dog solo as well. Anything that the owner/dog needs can be provided. If the dog is in need of exercise then it would be my pleasure to run/jog/play fetch with them.

I am staying in a pet friendly condo with my husband. I am willing to look after small/medium dogs. Me and my husband love pets and we are looking forward to have one of our own.
Your dog will get a homely treatment at my house and will definitely treat him/her as my own. I have parks nearby my condo.
I'll love to send you pictures of your dog during the day, or may be a quick whatsapp video call.

My walks are active and I can walk one or more dogs at once. If I am walking more than one dog, I would prefer the dogs know each other (ie: live in the same household together). Depending on the location, I will take a dog to a park or open area were they can run and explore. I will either bring one of their toys or find sticks that the dogs can fetch. Depending on the weather, I could play with dogs all day outside!

With a new client and dog, I prefer solo walks initially to build my relationship with the dog, once I feel that the dog is comfortable around me, then I will introduce the dog to other dogs and then take them on group walks.

Puppies get distracted very easily and need intense care, so only one pup will be walked at a time.

Adult dogs of small breeds can be grouped, whereas those of larger breeds may require solo walk at all times.

My usual pattern is to take dogs to a leash free park with enclosures. If a dog park is not found nearby, a regular route may be taken to walk.

Depending on the dog, younger dogs will get a more active walk and a stop at the park to play a game of fetch compared to a senior dog that needs something at a slower pace and more relaxed. I am able to walk multiple dogs depending on dogs behaviour. All walks I take with me a water bowl, treats and doggy bags.

I love to go to the park with the dog and make them run around as much as possible! I make sure to engage them with any toys or branches they find at the park. I like to go for long walks because I feel that they are best for dogs. If I have multiple dogs, I'll be sure to get them in an area where they can play with each other safely.

As an animal lover I will make your pets enjoy every minute the stay with me. I am a very active person so I love to walk, run and exercise.
I will take multiple dogs for a walk and make sure they do not eat anything from the ground.
The safety of the pets is the most important aspect of myself.

I believe our pets are more than just animals, they are family members and far more intelligent than we give them credit for. I take time to ensure a dog is getting the care/love he/she needs to be happy, healthy and socialized. I take my dog for leisurely walks around our neighborhood where he is familiar with his rituals, smells and friends but also for exercise where he can run to stay fit, strong and get rid of some of that energy! We visit local parks but also dog parks with a more natural environment, trails for leash free roaming, either with other dogs or solo for one on one attention.

Pick up your dog and walk them to a park/dog park close by the home at a leisurely pace. Stopping for pee, potty and ever important sniff breaks! Will be solo walked and properly secured and watched out for, for the duration of the walk, then returning them home safely and tired out!

I would provide the type of walk that you feel your pup enjoys the most. Whether its a nice leisurely walk down your neighbourhood street or a faster pace walk, your pup will be getting great exercise and playtime with me (not to mention but a pee and poop break midday will help you rest easy as well).I prefer to take your dog for his or her walk alone (not in a big group walk) in order to give your dog the attention they deserve. If you have 2 dogs I would be more then happy to walk them together for the same rate as one. I have found clients that have me walk their dogs either Tuesday and Thursday or a Monday, Wednesday, Friday feel so much better knowing their puppy is being given that extra attention each week. When you get home after a long day you will be able to relax knowing your dog has had fun that day. Remember.... a tired puppy is a happy puppy ??

Top tips for getting started with a dog walker in Los Angeles

  1. Look for a dog walker who has passed a background check.
  2. Ask a DogVacay dog walker for a free Meet-n-Greet. Take your pet for a short stroll in Los Angeles, letting the dog walker hold the leash. You’ll know quickly if this is the right person for your pet.
  3. Then visit your home with the dog walker, so your pet becomes comfortable with this person in the dog’s territory.
  4. Make plans for letting the DogVacay dog walker into your home. Some people may feel comfortable providing a key. Others keep a key in a combination lockbox. Many people use smart locks and programmable key codes.
  5. Discuss the length and route of the walk in your neighborhood in Los Angeles. Cover what kind of updates you want (such as a “bathroom” log or behavior notes).
  6. Explain what your treat policy is after a walk. Keep treats safely stored, and let the dog walker know where to find them.
  7. Make sure your pet has the right harnesses, collars, leashes and equipment for a safe and fun walk.
