Leisure or active 15 or 30 minute walks depending on your dog's needs, We live close to Eden Park so there is a lot of green space for short and long walks. Sun, rain or snow we are happy to keep your doggy active and happy. Ideally up to 3 dogs on leisure walks including my own 7 year old pug who is shy around other dogs but very friendly.

We LOVE walking - especially around our neighborhood, at Washington Park, at Ault Park, and basically anywhere the has a side walk or a play area. We keep all dogs safe on a leash and, if preferred, we can offer multiple or solo walks with the dogs. For the smaller dogs, we always do a more leisurely walk. If you have a larger dog that you are used to jogging or running with, we love to run and would gladly take him/her with. No matter what - safety always comes first with the dogs on walks. This means careful on streets, crossing streets, and around other dogs.

I will provide your furry friend with a leisurely walk around the Mount Adams area and likely over into Eden Park. I can take several dogs at a time or individually. If your dog is elderly I can walk them around the flat areas. Short or long walks are fine and I can adjust my schedule around this.

I can walk the dog around your neighborhood or mine neighborhood. I usually wear flip flops when the weather is nice, so I walk at a nice leisurely pace. I always love going to parks and dog parks to watch the dogs play. Dog walks would most likely be solo unless you have more than one. I live on the boarder of Over the Rhine, and Clifton, so there are plenty of places to walk and plenty of parks to go to. Including a dog park in Over the Rhine at Washington park.

I like to walk solo with the dog. Depending on the dog the walk can be a nice slow walk or an active walk. I can walk multiple dogs at a time but I prefer a solo walk with dogs who are not so good on the leash. I can also walk cats if you would like.

Leisurely walks, allowing the dog to explore and frolick. Can also briskly walk, engage in playing with toys, or rest for a bit. I always bring a bottle of water and cup/bowl for any needed breaks on hotter days. I can walk up to three dogs at once. I have a bit of experience with leash pulling training, if that were any issue being experienced, and could provide this service during routine walks.

I have a small dog so there are days when we walk slowly and days when she wants to really move. I can adjust to the needs of the dog/dogs I'm walking. We often keep friends' dogs who are much larger than her and we have never had a problem keeping a happy medium.

Walks can be either active or leisure. On leisurely walks, I can walk up to two dogs. I am a slightly active runner, so if it is an active run, I prefer one dog to assure that we are on a good pace. I have taken dogs for walk around neighborhoods, as well as parks around the city.

A happy leashed walk around the neighborhood or local street - I will greet animal and ask if they want to go for a "walk" and go "outside". After a happy tail wag we will go outside for a nice walk around the neighborhood or local sidewalk streets.

If my new friend gets along with other dogs, I may bring my puppy for company. Treats may be available for a good walk with little pulling.

Top tips for getting started with a dog walker in Cincinnati

  1. Look for a dog walker who has passed a background check.
  2. Ask a DogVacay dog walker for a free Meet-n-Greet. Take your pet for a short stroll in Cincinnati, letting the dog walker hold the leash. You’ll know quickly if this is the right person for your pet.
  3. Then visit your home with the dog walker, so your pet becomes comfortable with this person in the dog’s territory.
  4. Make plans for letting the DogVacay dog walker into your home. Some people may feel comfortable providing a key. Others keep a key in a combination lockbox. Many people use smart locks and programmable key codes.
  5. Discuss the length and route of the walk in your neighborhood in Cincinnati. Cover what kind of updates you want (such as a “bathroom” log or behavior notes).
  6. Explain what your treat policy is after a walk. Keep treats safely stored, and let the dog walker know where to find them.
  7. Make sure your pet has the right harnesses, collars, leashes and equipment for a safe and fun walk.
