We take casual strolls around the yard or neighborhood trying our best to avoid the hot pavement when we can. In the evenings, we go on longer walks when it cools off. We Stop and meet with people / dogs on the way. Typically, it's just me, my wife and our pooch, Boo; however, when we watch other dogs we all walk together in unison.

I will come to your home, pick up your pup, and take him/her on a nice walk around the neighborhood. If there is a nice, grassy park near by, I will walk around the park with him/her.
I get along with, and love all breeds, so that would never be an issue.

My walks all counts on your dog, if she/he is older and would rather walk at a slower pace. I wouldn't want to push them to run. If they are more of a younger dog, that is use to going on runs I wouldn't mind taking them for a active jog. I do go on weekly hikes every weeks with my dog, which could be a option for your furbabies also.

I can walk your dog leisurely or actively. For big dogs, I can run with your dog provided that he knows how to run beside you although I can also train him to if he's still young. If you have small dogs, I can walk at least 2 but if it's a big dog, I can walk at most 1. I limit my numbers because I want to pay each dog 100% attention and care. I've always believed in quality over quantity.

My walks really just depend on the dog and their activity level. I'll sometimes walk multiple dogs together if it isn't a problem within the group, if there is I'll walk them individually. I mostly try to focus on what makes them happy to make the walk as enjoyable as possible for them! :)

I enjoy the outdoors and talking walks in parks on fun trails around the city. I also like to stay active, jogging or light runs outside, for owners with more active dogs. Of course walking dogs solo is no problem. As i do not have too much experience with walking multiple dogs, i would be more comfortable with walking 2 maybe 3 dogs at once, depending on their size and energy level.

I love running with dogs, and I can also do leisurely walks- whatever your dog prefers or whatever you would like me to do. I am physically fit and can handle keeping up with your dog! I always make sure the leash and harness is secure to make sure that your pet is safe.

The dogs and I go on at least three 15-20 minute leisure walks per day to ensure they are digesting and getting the right exercise. The most dogs I walk at one time is 3. The walks all take place inside of my gated community with the dogs on leashes, my community does have a bunch of dogs within it so the pups often stop to smell each other or try racing around each other to play. I do not walk the dogs during the time of 12 noon-5pm because the pavement is extremely hot for them, I still take them outside..just not on walks, I take them straight to the doggie area and let them take care of business.

Romp in the dog park or stroll your neighborhood depending on your dog's needs. Does your dog have a favorite toy to play fetch or just like to sniff the "news"? I can also help your dog learn some basic tricks, like sit, lie down, roll over, etc. I have had multiple successes with my own dogs over the years. She gets along with everybody and loves to sniff the "news" at the dog park.

Top tips for getting started with a dog walker in Las Vegas

  1. Look for a dog walker who has passed a background check.
  2. Ask a DogVacay dog walker for a free Meet-n-Greet. Take your pet for a short stroll in Las Vegas, letting the dog walker hold the leash. You’ll know quickly if this is the right person for your pet.
  3. Then visit your home with the dog walker, so your pet becomes comfortable with this person in the dog’s territory.
  4. Make plans for letting the DogVacay dog walker into your home. Some people may feel comfortable providing a key. Others keep a key in a combination lockbox. Many people use smart locks and programmable key codes.
  5. Discuss the length and route of the walk in your neighborhood in Las Vegas. Cover what kind of updates you want (such as a “bathroom” log or behavior notes).
  6. Explain what your treat policy is after a walk. Keep treats safely stored, and let the dog walker know where to find them.
  7. Make sure your pet has the right harnesses, collars, leashes and equipment for a safe and fun walk.
