“Ava adores animals and has been lucky enough to have had pets for over 70% of her life. Her two Persian cats, Lola & Roxy, came first and then we added our Bernedoodle, Hugo, to the mix 7 years ago. Lola is still with us and Ava is definitely her "chosen" one still to this day, 15 years later. Hugo adores his "Ava time". His favourite thing is for Ava to make a bed with her legs on the floor into which he curls up and happily sleeps. She has a compassion and love for the animals that they seem to understand and gravitate towards. She is always their safe harbour but she is not a pushover. She attended all the puppy training classes in order to be able to use proper, consistent, commands with Hugo to keep him safe and teach him to walk on leash, ride in the car, and greet new people and dogs safely. The animals miss her terribly when she is in Halifax but Haligonians will benefit from her fabulous pet sitting skills!”

She has never pet sat for me, as I was always able to mine with me. The time and patience she puts in with animals is more than parents give their children. My pup tends to stuggle with seperation anxiety, so I was a bit worried leaving her alone for such a long period of time. Turns out I was worried for nothing, because Alison sent me updates all throughout the weekend of my doggo having the time of her life! I was so pleased with her service, especially after coming home to a clean house, a full water bowl, and a happy pup. I definitely recommend!”

“Brandon is the most caring and responsible pet owner I know. He loves cuddles and nose kisses from his dog King. I would definitely recommend Brandon to watch any dog. He has the biggest heart. Brandon likes to play ball with King and gives him lots of treats. Brandon is definitely a dog person. I have a chocolate lab and black lab who are spoiled rotten.
