About: I've been around dogs almost my entire life, from teacup chihuahuas too great danes and pitties. Because I've had experience with such a wide range of dogs, im very familiar with proper technique to seperate animals that don't get along. Raising a high maintenance pitty taught me a ton about animal socializing/ proper dog handling. I love dogs, they aren't just animals they're family. They have personalities and quirks of their own, and they're smart intuitive animals. They deserve nothing but the best love and attention. Id also like to add that I did take Veterinary Technician courses for 2 years, participated in my Schools FFA(future farmers of america) program as well. Ive managed wild animals and domestic animals. I grew up around farm animals and have always been surrounded by dogs, cats, or birds. I'm currently waitressing part time, so in my spare time I pet and baby sit for friends and family. I really look forward to working with new pets and clients to keep myself busy through the new year :) We have a small apartment ! So as of right now I don't feel comfortable sitting or caring in my own home, I would want to be able to accommodate your pet with the upmost importance.

About: I have been dog and cat walking and sitting since the age of 11. Sometimes as my full time job and sometimes as a way to make some extra cash. I absolutely love all fur babies of every size, breed, and age! I am not assuaged by the more aggressive and/or larger dog breeds. I have experience caring for pitbulls, boxers, huskies, golden retrievers, labradors, collies, and hounds, as well as various smaller breeds. I have pet sat for both dogs and cats from ages 2-months to super seniors! I love them all! I am not currently a pet mom to any cats or dogs, but I have been in the past and my partner and I are the pet parents to a feisty bearded dragon, one adorable turtle, two silly toads, one lazy pac-man frog, one chill beta fish, and a tank of four high-energy salt-water fish! 😊 We recently laid to rest Pixie our hamster, Lucy our ferret, and Anthony our saltwater eel. Lucy and Anthony were in our lives for 7+ years 😢 I will treat all of your fur babies like they are my own! I originally signed up on Rover as a way to make ends meet while putting myself through Nursing school; and although I have since accepted a job as a full-time nurse, I decided to continue Rover on the side. I also regularly volunteer at Memorial Medical Center as an Auxillain. Aside from these two commitments my schedule is pretty open. I unlisted myself from house sitting; however, I may be able to house sit for you in 3 to 4-day stretches, so if this is all you need please reach out to me. Unfortunately, I cannot house any pets in my home either overnight or during the day due to restrictions set forth by my apartment complex; however, I am free to pet sit overnight or during the day in your home (in 3 to 4-day stretches). I have found this is normally less jarring for your fur babies anyway. I am also free to dog/cat walk either on a regular basis or sporadically. The needs of your pet will be taken into account on an individual basis. If you have a question about my experience or ability to perform a specific aspect of your pets care, please just ask. *I am willing to negotiate rates*

“Kara was an excellent friend to my two puppies. I call them puppies but they were older dogs. They were always so excited when Kara showed up for their walk. She always gave them a warm greeting. She got down to their level and smothered them with love. Kara was always available to take them out if I wasn’t able to get to them on short notice and they also had their scheduled walks too. I would recommend Kara to anyone who needs a loving and caring person to look after their fur babies and to treat them wonderfully.”
