“Currently Christy is house and dog sitting for me as I am away for work. I'm always nervous leaving the pups behind. Are they going to be ok? are they going to eat? Are they going to get enough cuddles? you know, the normal things. Everything was set at ease when I started receiving pictures of the Christy and the dogs laying on the couch all snuggled up. I know they are getting all the love and cuddles they want. She will send me updates on how they are doing as well as far as food eating goes ( I have one that likes to not eat all her food because she is afraid she going to miss something lol ) I would highly recommend Christy for house and pet sitting. I can't think of anyone else to use now!!”

“When I think of Ava Harvey, I immediately imagine a dedicated, respectful, responsible, and caring young woman. Ava has proven to be an excellent leader and caretaker, especially when it comes to caring for her own puppies, River and Rosie. She is gentle and loving to her puppies but also is able to show that she is the boss and train them accordingly. Ava Harvey walks her own dogs daily and fits the walk accordingly depending on the dog. For example, with Ava’s smaller puppy, Rosie, she walks her less distance and gives Rosie opportunities to take a break so that she doesn’t get overheated or worn out. As for River, Ava’s larger dog, she takes him on longer walk and gives him room to explore a little since he is curious about every new scent. Out of anyone who could be a dog walker, I believe Ava is the most capable and reliable person for the task.”

About: I’ve been lucky enough to have dogs throughout my life, giving me the background I need to properly care for your pet. My parents strongly advocated for me to be responsible for my pet, including feedings, walks and outside activities and keeping both my pet and the areas they spent time in clean and orderly. I try to spent time volunteering at the Humane Society of Macomb whenever I can, which gives me one on one access to a lot of different dogs in very different and sometimes difficult situations. I am currently working full-time as a surgical assistant in Rochester Hills Monday through Friday, but I hope to use my evening and 3 day weekends to easily fit in time for pet care. I find time with the animals cathartic after hectic days in the operatory. I have always treated the pets in my charge, whether my own or someone else’s, as precious because in my opinion, they are the family that loves you unconditionally. I’m the past, I have adjusted how I care for each animal based on the recommendations of the veterinarian, and I can easily adhere to any special requests there might be. I typically keep meals on a schedule, but again I am flexible to the needs of the pet and concerns of the owner. Puppies and dogs being a lot of light and happiness into my my world and I like to try to return the favor to them.I currently live in a ranch style condominium with a gated patio and garage. There is a large park a very short walk from my home which provides multiple trails and different areas to explore. Depending on how the owner feels, I am always open to field trips to other dog parks, beaches or really anywhere that is dog friendly and the pet feels safe and secure.

She and her husband Todd would be great sitters to any pups; they have a large, clean home for dogs to play and a fully fenced in backyard for them to run around. They used to have a senior PitBull mix with anxiety issues, so she is familiar with dogs with special needs and knows how to make them feel good. Overall, your pup will have a blast with Heather and you will have peice of mind that your pup is in great hands.”
