I have a daily route in downtown Silver Spring, primarily serving apt. dwellers. I'm familiar with all the complexes in the area. Normally take dogs in rotation and they get a little more time that way. Let your dog join the pack!

Individual walks available too of course.

For evening walks, we go at a leisurely pace for 30-60 minutes. We will simply go around your neighborhood. Solo dogs preferred but am willing to do more.

I am also an avid hiker and can be available on weekends if you dog would like to come hiking with me. 4-8 miles. Rocky, mountain trails.

I prefer to walk one dog at a time, but two is fine if they are familiar with each other and aren't too rambunctious. I walk at a fairly brisk pace (about 3 mph) but I can adjust up or down depending on the dog, and I'll stop to let them smell around.

I walk one-on-one only and am happy to customize the walk to the dog's needs. I pick up and dispose of all waste, am comfortable controlling dogs with questionable leash manners :) and while I do not run/jog with my dogs I will enthusiastically provide a vigorous walk as needed.

All walks include some good belly rubs and cuddling as necessary.

I prefer to use your choice of leads (what the dog is most familiar with, but please not retractable leashes).

We like to walk dogs to get a good workout in for them as well as for ourselves. At times we may walk two dogs at a time, depending on how busy the day is, if it's a slow day, then we just walk 1 dog at a time.

We have experience in knowing how to pair dogs we walk to avoid any confusion or aggression during the walk. We assess their behavior by seeing how they get along with one another and then go from there.

Your pups walks will include a leisurely walk around your neighborhood. I will be in charge of cleaning up after your pet throughout the walk and will have poo bags handy. I will also be carrying along dog treats that i will happily provide to your pet if you'd like. If there is rain/snow, i will gladly dry up your pet with a towel. I ask that you leave one out so that i can do so. Finally, upon return i will make sure that your dog has plenty of new fresh water available.

I have experience with big dogs such as labs, pit bulls, Dobermans, German Shepard, huskies and small dogs as well. When I go out for walks I keep each dog on a leash and speak to them as I walk. I believe that creates a bond and understanding between me and the dogs. I used to have a cat and he would sometimes walk with my dog and I. I generally take an hour walk around the neighborhood and play an extra 30 mins outside. I love animals and I love creating a meaningful relationship with them. I know I won't be a disappointment to any owner.
