We will enjoy a long brisk walk with plenty of opportunities to smell the roses (and pee on them of course!). I like to walk only one fur family at a time. We will also practice basic obedience and good manners with every walk to stimulate them mentally. I look forward to taking care of your pup the way I take care of mine!

I prefer to walk solo but I don't have any problem to walk more dogs on the same time. Depends on the area where you live - I would love to walk your dog in nearby parks where we can run together, play together and getting exercise ( but that depends of each dog needs). I will be more than happy to walk your furry friend :)

Long walks while singing and speaking with the dog.
Solo in parks and out in the wild as a way for the dog to run and breath in the essence of life's goodness. Walk in communities and early morning commuting. Enjoy resting with them after the walk so they know you are their with them as they are going through their journey.

Prefer to walk only one or 2 dogs at a time. If the dogs go after prey frequently or pull very hard on the leash I prefer to walk only one at a time. Owners need to supply poop bags. In the hot or very cold weather I usually only walk dogs a maximum of a half hour.

I've been around dogs my whole life, my only family in this country are my two schnauzers tito and Addie. I walk many dogs daily of my clients.
I love animals and I am happy to care for them. my house has a large fenced yard where they can run and play. Tito and addie are friendly with other dogs. I have experience boarding dogs at home.

Walks can be leisurely or active, and I'm available during the day, so your fur baby can get out for fresh air and a bathroom break while you're at work. I have experience walking dogs from a variety of breeds including (but not limited to) retrievers, spaniels, boxers, beagles, German shepherds, and pit bulls. I only take one booking at a time, so your pup will have my full attention!

30 minute walk is done in your neighborhood, it will be only your dog.
But the 60 minute walk is always in the woods, this is a very active walk, with 3 or 4 other dogs. You can see the kind of walk I am offering by looking the videos on my facebook page.
Enjoy

Top tips for getting started with a dog walker in Rockville

  1. Look for a dog walker who has passed a background check.
  2. Ask a DogVacay dog walker for a free Meet-n-Greet. Take your pet for a short stroll in Rockville, letting the dog walker hold the leash. You’ll know quickly if this is the right person for your pet.
  3. Then visit your home with the dog walker, so your pet becomes comfortable with this person in the dog’s territory.
  4. Make plans for letting the DogVacay dog walker into your home. Some people may feel comfortable providing a key. Others keep a key in a combination lockbox. Many people use smart locks and programmable key codes.
  5. Discuss the length and route of the walk in your neighborhood in Rockville. Cover what kind of updates you want (such as a “bathroom” log or behavior notes).
  6. Explain what your treat policy is after a walk. Keep treats safely stored, and let the dog walker know where to find them.
  7. Make sure your pet has the right harnesses, collars, leashes and equipment for a safe and fun walk.
