Emily works one on one with the scared babies who have be neglected and abused and she gains their trust and helps them heal. Emily also works on leash manners with the new pups, one being the 100lb mastiff. It’s amazing to watch how with a little training and consistency the pups get better. Emily is great at following directions and also great at being a leader and someone people feel they can go to!”

About: I’ve taken care of lots of different animals since I was a young girl. I grew up around dogs, cats, farm animals, reptiles, all different kinds of animals! My mom was a vet tech for a long time so I spent lots of time at the clinic with her. My husband and I have two dogs and I have more love to spare for your fur babies! I am currently a stay at home mom so my availability is pretty open and I can be flexible with days and times you may need! Our home has a fenced in back yard with space to run around and our two dogs, Maverick and Marley, can keep your pups company! I can also set up a crate or keep your pups in a separate living room if they prefer to be alone. I will do what it takes to keep them comfortable and safe while you are away!

“My dog, Mia, and I were so fortunate to have Ryan helping to take care of Mia for 3 1/2 years while he was based in DC. Ryan quickly became one of Mia's favorite humans and was known to us as Uncle Ryan. He was great at caring for Mia and helping to calm her down when she would get overexcited at the sight of a squirrel or cat. He always made sure to communicate with me when I picked up Mia from daycare as to whether she ate her dinner, if/when she went to the bathroom, and would send me a photo during the day. I can't recommend Ryan enough!”

About: I have had dogs my whole life, and fish for most of it. I recently got my first cat and I love her to death. I have been petsitting since I was 13. My main experience is with dogs with the occasional cat and fish tank. I am currently a stay-at-home mom during the day with my 1-year-old son. I would be able to care for them during the day and in the evenings. In my own home, I am home all day to provide food, water, outside time, and playtime while also taking care of my own pets and my son. In a client's home, I would check on them as often as needed throughout the day (usually 2-3 times per day) to provide food, water, and outside time, and may spend 10-30 minutes playing with them. If it's a dog they would get at least 1 walk per day but I could do more if the owner prefers.
