I tend to take leisurely walks, allowing the dog(s) time to sniff around to their heart's content. I have experience with walking "pullers," a behavior I've managed to train away with a few treats and a lot of patience. I am happy to walk one rambunctious dog, or multiple docile dogs, but not multiple rambunctious dogs.

I can walk up to two dogs at once, but I am willing to do multiple walks in a day if you have more than two dogs or want your dog to get more than an hour of walking or running in a day. I can walk or take them on my daily run with me if they need a little more exercise.

My walks are leisurely to moderately active. I can go on interval training walk/runs with solo dogs as well. I would prefer solo trips for dogs that pull on leashes, and multiples for dogs who are leash trained. My primary area for walking is the downtown Savannah area; primarily around Jones Street and Forsyth Park.

I'm not yet a pet whisperer or a professional, but I tend to be an open book to most mammals, and they tend to agree with my smell and we get along splendidly. Understanding that animals, just as humans are each unique individuals, goes a long way to establishing relationships with them. I also work in special needs with adults and children, if that helps you to understand the temperament and patience with which I will bring to caring for your own family member (your pet).

Some experience caring for birds, fish, and reptiles, plenty of experience caring for cats, dogs, house pigs, rodents (gerbils and ferrets). I have trained cats to use the human potty and to go outside and return indoors, I have trained dogs in a number of commands and basic positive behaviors.

I believe that every dog should have optimal time taken out of their days exploring new areas. I will be walking your dog into the most secure area possible. We will most likely go to one of the closest parks that are nearby to blow off some time and stress.

Walks can range from leisurely to active depending on the athletic ability of the dog. I usually take my dog for multiple walks during the day so I would hope that I could bring her along too if your dogs are friendly. I am used to dog sitting for my parents so I am experienced with walking two or more dogs at a time.

When I walk my own dog I like to alternate between 5 minute walks and 30 second sprints. Sometimes I walk her around the apartments in the grass area and other times I walk on the concrete sidewalk. However I can customize the speed and frequency for each dog. I prefer to walk one dog at a time, or two if they aren't big dogs.

Whether your dog likes leisurely walks or prefers to go for a jog, I will be very accommodating to your pet's needs. I am equipped for solo walks as well as walks with multiple dogs. We can visit his or her favorite neighborhood spots or try something more adventurous like a walk through Skidaway Island State Park or a fun-filled day in downtown Savannah.

I would prefer to walk no more than 2 dogs simultaneously, though I could walk more if need be. Depending on the breed, age, and preferences of the dog and the owner, I could be a more active and playful walker, or I can walk slowly. I would be open and would love to take dogs to the dog park. I will gladly pick up after your dogs during our walks together. Different owners have different approaches with their furry friends in terms of walking them and interacting with other dogs, and I would try to replicate your approach.
