If your dog just needs to get some Vitamin D and get out of the house, we can take a stroll around your neighborhood or a local walking trail nearby. If your pup is the more adventurous type, we can hop in the car and go to a local park or dog park or go for a coffee date and get a Puppucinno at Starbucks. For the energetic ones, a nice game of fetch always does the trick! Sometimes I do like to bring my dog along for the walk if you and your dog are comfortable with doing so.

I will take your fur-babies on a nice stroll through the neighborhood, or go to a park or dog park weather permits it. I will keep them safe and sound and provide refreshments when needed, and can even send picture updates on the walk if requested. I will only walk up to two dogs at a time, or can do solo walks if preferred. I will make it my priority to give your babies the best day they can have!

I can either run with a dog or I can take it nice and slow. I will take them to parks for the walks. I can take them to different places every time or if I find they like 1 park specifically then we will keep going back there. I would only be able to walk 2 dogs at maximum but would like to give a dog one on one attention. My dog has been trained and still in training, so I do know what dogs need when we are walking. I don't care about the size. I love all dogs the same. When they are in my care I wil treat them as my own.

I enjoy being with animals, so walking, exercising, leisurely, active, multiple, solo, can take to park, etc... Let me know what you have in mind. Love animals and will make them feel special. I have had border collies and poodles in the past. Today I have two rescue cats in my home along with Koi fish.

My favorite part of dog sitting is the walk because it keeps me active. I like to walk dogs solo and keep up with their pace. So usually it's a active walk. It depends on the dog, it may be a leisurely walk. I have sidewalks in my neighborhood so that is where we will walk if the dogs are at my house. We will go to a park if a safe place to walk isn't available.

Your pup will take a nice leisurely walk around the neighborhood. Will enjoy the outdoors, soak in the sun, breath in the fresh air and take care of business out in the open. Will be able to stretch their legs and wag a happy tail while saying Hello to the neighbor's dogs :-)

I would have to say that it really depends on the dog. My moms dog is about 15 years old and she prefers to walk slow and not too far while the dog that I watch for a friend likes to be active and go to parks around other dogs. All you have to do is tell me what your pet likes/needs and that is what your pet will get!

I love being outside and I'm sure your little fuzz-butt does too! Depending on the energy of the pup we can take a leisurely walk, or a brisk walk. I'm used to walking either one big at a time or two small dogs at a time. It's really up to you and how you want things to go!

I adore furbabies! My walks include leisurely or active walks through the neighborhood or at a local park or trail for multiple or solo doggies. I live in the Lawrenceville/Buford area so we have multiple scenic trails that I enjoy taking my puppy to enjoy. We walk atleast two or three times daily.

Top tips for getting started with a dog walker in Lawrenceville

  1. Look for a dog walker who has passed a background check.
  2. Ask a DogVacay dog walker for a free Meet-n-Greet. Take your pet for a short stroll in Lawrenceville, letting the dog walker hold the leash. You’ll know quickly if this is the right person for your pet.
  3. Then visit your home with the dog walker, so your pet becomes comfortable with this person in the dog’s territory.
  4. Make plans for letting the DogVacay dog walker into your home. Some people may feel comfortable providing a key. Others keep a key in a combination lockbox. Many people use smart locks and programmable key codes.
  5. Discuss the length and route of the walk in your neighborhood in Lawrenceville. Cover what kind of updates you want (such as a “bathroom” log or behavior notes).
  6. Explain what your treat policy is after a walk. Keep treats safely stored, and let the dog walker know where to find them.
  7. Make sure your pet has the right harnesses, collars, leashes and equipment for a safe and fun walk.
