My walks are active to make sure the client has the right amount exercise and playtime while on the walk, then take a water break to ensure the dog health is ok. Also to make sure that the client goes tinkle and poop as well before returning back to it home.

I'm very flexible with walks. I think they depend a lot on the dog themself. If they're a little older, I'd be happy to take a load off and go slow with them. If they're younger and active, I know some great dog parks. Also I'm pretty active so if your pup likes to go on runs, just say the word and we're off! I can also do multiple dogs if necessary as I've watched up to 4 larger dogs at a time, all of which were quite rambunctious if I do say so myself. You know your dog better than me, so I let you decide what your pet needs. I'm here to make them happy.

I can walk dogs individually or together. Depending on their abilities, I normally do active walks with dogs to make sure they are "worn out" and don't have pent up energy. I will run with them for a period of time, play with them. If they have toys or balls I will bring those along. If it's an older or less agile dog, leisure walking is best. I would normally walk a dog for at least 30 minutes to an hour.

I can tailor the activity level of our walks based on the need of the dog. If they are an older dog we would probably take a more leisurely walk and if they are a young dog who needs to be exercised then we can be more active and even run some! I can walk multiple dogs at a time if necessary.

My dog walks are leisurely. With hopefully semi trained dogs..no pulling. i can walk two dogs at a time. I could take the dog to a nearby park and also walk around my neighborhood or at your place depending on how far away it is! I will take my time to let the dog explore but won't run with dogs!! Those days are over! LOL!!! If the dog is unruly when walking, I will try to train them to walk respectfully and take command from me. I have a dominant personality! I would be the 'alpha' dog!!! I'll do my best to make your furry child happy!!!

I would more than likely have my two children with me so it would be a leisurely walk depending on where we are located. If my children are not with me it could be a bit faster paced or even a jog. And/Or I would love to be able to take the dog to a fenced in park where he/she can play fetch or run around freely. I would prefer to do a morning or evening walk during the summer months especially so no one gets over heated.

The walks could be leisurely or active, depending on the needs of the pet. I preferred one dog at the time unless the dogs are trained or very easy to handle. I am in good shape, love the outdoors and can take the dogs to the beach very early in the morning or during the sunset or to the park if the owners want or approve to it.

The walk depends on the dog`s needs, age and dog`s willingness to play, run, etc.. I can walk multiple dogs, if you have more than one. Running with your dog is not a problem for me. I personally like to play with the dogs and give them extra attention.

I am open to walking your dog as needed - leisurely, active, etc. I am capable of walking two dogs at a time, but really will adhere to the owners' recommendations. I don't mind getting a jog in either :)

Will walk the dog in your own neighborhood if it provides a good walk for them or can also take to a nearby park.

Top tips for getting started with a dog walker in West Palm Beach

  1. Look for a dog walker who has passed a background check.
  2. Ask a DogVacay dog walker for a free Meet-n-Greet. Take your pet for a short stroll in West Palm Beach, letting the dog walker hold the leash. You’ll know quickly if this is the right person for your pet.
  3. Then visit your home with the dog walker, so your pet becomes comfortable with this person in the dog’s territory.
  4. Make plans for letting the DogVacay dog walker into your home. Some people may feel comfortable providing a key. Others keep a key in a combination lockbox. Many people use smart locks and programmable key codes.
  5. Discuss the length and route of the walk in your neighborhood in West Palm Beach. Cover what kind of updates you want (such as a “bathroom” log or behavior notes).
  6. Explain what your treat policy is after a walk. Keep treats safely stored, and let the dog walker know where to find them.
  7. Make sure your pet has the right harnesses, collars, leashes and equipment for a safe and fun walk.
