Will be walking in a dog park near by , can handle multiple dogs from the same household , treats and water will be provided , there will be a play time fitch to keep them active .
Will be a solo individually walker in order to get more one-on-one companionship. If a walker is dedicated to only your dog, then they'll be able to give more attention and play with your dog more unless you own multiple dogs they will enjoy it more

I would like to take leisurely walks with your dog. I prefer to walk dogs solo. I would keep a close eye on your dog when walking to keep him safe, and abide by any rules that the owner has. I always clean up after the dogs I watch, and make sure they stay hydrated.

I prefer walking in trails, or open fields to play frisbee or ball and let the dogs run around. Also pet parks would be great so the dogs can socialize with other dogs, if allowed. Walking in the neighborhood is great as well. I am able to walk more than one dog if the dogs all get along.

I love walking so having a dog along for the stroll is a plus. I have always had a big dog, from a basset hound when I was a teen to Alaskan Wolfe and German Shepherd when I was an adult. She lived to be 20. My next dog was a Japanese Akita which was loved people but hated all animals. She lived to be 10. Then we purchased a full blooded German Shepherd that when full grown he weighed 129 pounds. He had separation anxiety so bad we couldn't leave him alone. He lived to be 9. My last dog was a rescue, she was a lab and a sheep dog mix. I had to have her trained so I had to work with her several times a day to train her. When my husband divorced me, he kept her so I haven't personally had a dog since. I haven't taken care of a lot of pets with exception of my own, which I administer medicine, feed them, cleaned up after them, bathed and groomed them, and daily walked them. I am a lover of animals especially dogs.

We are very flexible and accommodating. I am willing to adjust to you and your dogs needs. Whether you are looking for excercise for your pet or your dog like to take it slow, I can provide either. I have walked up to 3 dogs at a time so if you have multiple dogs that is something that can be accommodated as well. I am open to taking short walks or for longer walks. Just let me know what your dog is used to. The weather is also a factor when walking your dogs. In summer I would like to avoid taking long walks in and he middle of the day or on very muggy days. If there is specific route or park that you and your pup are used to visiting please let me know. Please let me know if your dog needs to avoid other dogs on their walk due to aggressiveness or pulling and I will make sure to do so. This also goes for the dog park, I will not take your dog to the dog park without colsulting with you first. Just in case there is anything I should know and to get your approval. I should also be aware of any areas that should be avoided for any reason. I enjoy the exercise as well so let me know what type of walk you are looking for and we can discuss. I look forward to meeting you and your pup/pups and learning more about their day to day routine.

I will walk your dog as far and as long as they can tolerate. I will let your dog set the pace, I can walk two dog by my self and up to 4 with the help of my wife. The walkes can be in the neighbor or along a trail near your home however if alone I like to walk in a more populated area. If raining I will walk as far as your dog needs to take care of business after they will be dried so as not to leave a mess in your house. Each walk will be so your dog can get a potty break take the fresh air socialize and of course a little exercise.

As a dog walker I would prefer to walk no more than two dogs at a time depending on size. However, if you own more than two dogs I have no problem walking them each individually. I will not charge extra for each individual walk unless the number of animals is 5 or more. As for what kind of walks I will take your dogs on I can range from simple leisurely walks to taking them out to run or play at a dog park. It is simply up to the owner as you know what your dog wants/needs the most. When it comes to time I have no problem keeping a log, and if a walk runs under 30 minutes will definitely knock the price down a little bit.

Top tips for getting started with a dog walker in Palm Harbor

  1. Look for a dog walker who has passed a background check.
  2. Ask a DogVacay dog walker for a free Meet-n-Greet. Take your pet for a short stroll in Palm Harbor, letting the dog walker hold the leash. You’ll know quickly if this is the right person for your pet.
  3. Then visit your home with the dog walker, so your pet becomes comfortable with this person in the dog’s territory.
  4. Make plans for letting the DogVacay dog walker into your home. Some people may feel comfortable providing a key. Others keep a key in a combination lockbox. Many people use smart locks and programmable key codes.
  5. Discuss the length and route of the walk in your neighborhood in Palm Harbor. Cover what kind of updates you want (such as a “bathroom” log or behavior notes).
  6. Explain what your treat policy is after a walk. Keep treats safely stored, and let the dog walker know where to find them.
  7. Make sure your pet has the right harnesses, collars, leashes and equipment for a safe and fun walk.
