I am an avid walker myself so your dogs will enjoy a fairly active walk with me.
If your pup is a little rusty on his walking manners I will be happy to use my proven techniques to help them remember this skill - heeling, sit and stay on command etc ( extremely useful for safety reasons like traffic and other dogs etc). I will not allow off leash walking - again for safety reasons .
I am acutely aware of how hot our pavement can get in the Florida sun so I always will try to find green areas for your pup.
Plenty of time for potty stops!

My walks with a dog/dogs is like a nice walk with nature with kid/kids. The only difference is that the dog/dogs are using the bathroom. I love playing and running around with dogs. It makes our walks exciting and adventurous. I don't believe walking a dog is about hust taking them out to just use the bathroom. Its about letting them breathe the fresh air and let them see the world for as they see it as.

I can make the walk leisurely or active. I/my husband run anywhere from 1-4 miles with our dog every other day. I am also willing to take them to the dog parks, My puppy especially loves Lake Ida dog park in Delray Beach, as well at Boynton Beach dog park.

I will be taking dogs on 2-3 walks per day. If possible I will take them to dog park so the dog can have so doggy time and fun time as well. I also have a back yard that is fenced and they will be free in the back yard. Walks will be about 30-45 min long around my neighborhood.

We take a walk according to the dog's limitation. the dogs are normally by themselves or with their pack members. I do not rush them. Fresh air is important. I will also keep in mind their health status, personality, etc while walking them. I also keep a look out for the bufo toads, which are fatal if they spray their poison. I will also walk according to the normal routine since dogs are creatures of habit.

Top tips for getting started with a dog walker in Lake Worth

  1. Look for a dog walker who has passed a background check.
  2. Ask a DogVacay dog walker for a free Meet-n-Greet. Take your pet for a short stroll in Lake Worth, letting the dog walker hold the leash. You’ll know quickly if this is the right person for your pet.
  3. Then visit your home with the dog walker, so your pet becomes comfortable with this person in the dog’s territory.
  4. Make plans for letting the DogVacay dog walker into your home. Some people may feel comfortable providing a key. Others keep a key in a combination lockbox. Many people use smart locks and programmable key codes.
  5. Discuss the length and route of the walk in your neighborhood in Lake Worth. Cover what kind of updates you want (such as a “bathroom” log or behavior notes).
  6. Explain what your treat policy is after a walk. Keep treats safely stored, and let the dog walker know where to find them.
  7. Make sure your pet has the right harnesses, collars, leashes and equipment for a safe and fun walk.
