He is a happy, calm guy when I get home from a long day at work. You can tell that she really cares and always takes extra time to give some love to my cat too, even though she doesn’t have to. Finally, I really appreciate her dependability, excellent communication, and professionalism. I have struggled at times to find that here. I highly recommend her!”

“Luke watched my 2 year old lab mix Ropi for a night recently and he did a great job. He made the drop off and pick up convenient for us, and communicated clearly throughout. Luke has a dog of his own at home, Rummy, who is the most well-behaved and amicable pup I’ve met. Luke sent us a couple updates of Ropi and Rummy playing together and having a great time, and Ropi definitely got a good amount of activity and engagement under Luke’s care. I will definitely have Luke watch my dog again, and I’m sure he will treat yours like his own and take great care.”

About: My name is Shannon and I currently work at an elementary school so I will not be available full time throughout the day, but I am able to come home on lunch breaks and before and after work which is 9-3. I have a 7 year old French Bulldog who LOVES other dogs. I have frequently watched friends dogs in the past and am looking to start helping out others in need of local/cheaper dog sitting! I know first hand the struggles of affordable dog care in Tahoe for people who love to travel. Tahoe is an extremely dog friendly place, so for me, this is an opportunity to help other dog lovers find a great sitter who will love their dog like it is my own while it stays with me. “Maria is an exceptionally caring and wonderful individual! My husband and I have left our dog with her on several occasions for up to 2 weeks at a time. Our dog has behavioral problems including dog aggression and there are only a couple of people we trust her with and Maria is one of them. Maria even helped our dog heal from her hip injury by giving her massages and a gentle exercise regime! I highly recommend her for short or long term doggy care!”
