14. Milad K.
“Milad is an amazing kind and caring dog sitter who truly loves and understands dogs like no one else I know. He has a way with dogs that I've never seen before - it's as if he talks their language. He was always there for my Aran, 2-year-old Border Collie:)). He always made sure to match Aran's energy with plenty of play and frequent outdoor time. Also, Milad's backyard is perfect for dogs to play outside. There's not many people that Aran loves as much as Milad. If you're looking for a caring dog sitter, I can't recommend Milad enough!”

About: I know how much of a positive impact our pets make in our life and that’s why it’s so important to have quality care that our pets deserve. When working with pets, I am calm and patient, especially to those who may be sensitive to any change. I’ve had experience fostering pets, pet and home sitting, dog walking and I have experience with administering medication. I’ve worked with pets that require more attention as well as with pets that have other specific care needs. I currently work part- time so I have a lot of flexibility scheduling wise. I am available most weekends as well. If you have any scheduling questions, I am more than happy to answer. I know that pets are sensitive to change and need to maintain their schedule as much as possible, so I keep that in mind while spending time with them. It’s important to learn about their personalities and make them feel comfortable wherever they are.

About: The experience I have is with my dogs I’ve take care of my one year old dog since she was a 3 months old, and I have another dog, he is one year old I’m currently available all the time, I’ll have plenty of time to play with your pups! I’m available for boarding on weekdays after 8:30am to 2:30pm. It is the first time that I apply to take care of pets, however I can tell you how I take care of my dog. First I take her for a walk in the morning so she can do her needs, then I feed her and when she's done I play with her. then I give her dinner and take her out for a walk again. Most of the time I bath her myself and cut her nails, but every two or three months I take her to Petsmart to have her bathed, cut her hair and nails.
19. Jennifer B.
“Jennifer was wonderful with our cat and dog! Sequoia is nervous to go on walks with strangers but Jennifer worked her magic and Sequoia actually went with her. We’ll be booking with Jennifer every time we go out of town.”

About: I have been taking care of animals since I was very young. My family had lizards, hamsters guinea pigs, 6 cats and 2 dogs. I have pet sit since I was 8 when I would watch movies and sleep on the couch with my neighbors elderly dog while she was out of town. I have watched dogs, cata, goats, chickens, ducks and rabbits and most animals take to me well. I work trade for my rent and like to grow and gather a lot of my food (hoping to learn to do this better). I do small carpentry jobs and part time work on a saw mill in El Sobrante. I have a lot of free time, especially during the day. I have a house to myself which is easy to dog proof. All hardwood floors so it’s easy to clean. I have a large yard but it is not fully fenced in so I would prefer to take unfamiliar dogs on leashed walks around the neighborhood and nearby Briones Regional Park. I tend to offer dogs lots of walking opportunities and I enjoy snuggles if they are up for it, too. I’m happy with whatever boundary the dog owner sets around dogs being allowed on furniture. I am looking for an apprenticeship with a dog trainer while I do this work.
