I could take up to two dogs for active walks. I would make sure to go at the speed your dog is content with and make sure to give them plenty of water while on the walk. Either we could walk and play in the park or perhaps go running around the neighborhood. The dog will have a blast but not be over doing it we would take multiple water breaks to just relax and enjoy the day.

Make sure he/she pee's and does their business. The rest of the walk will be pretty active and leisurely. A walk to and from the park or around the neighborhood. Wherever your dogs like to walk. I can walk multiple dogs as well. Also if there's anything in particular you would like for your dog during the walk just let me know. :)

I can walk single or multiple dogs (2) at both a leisurely or active pace. I enjoy walking outside, and do it for my own exercise and self-care, and therefore would love to bring a dog or two along. I have no problems with cleaning up after dogs, and love going to dog beaches and dog parks.

I can walk or run (average 8-9 min/ mile pace) anywhere downtown. I go on walks/ runs anyway downtown and would love to have some company. I will only go the pace and distance that the owners specify of course. I have a one dog policy so your pet will be solo. Sometimes I have humans accompany me.

I like to go on both high-energy and low-key walks depending on the age, breed, and energy level of the dog I am walking. I would love to take dogs on runs, hikes, and long walks but I am also able to go on slower/less intensive. It all depends on the dog! I will never walk more than one dog at a time, unless they are from the same family. This helps to give an individual dog the attention and care that they need. It also allows me to better understand their triggers and walking preferences.

I am willing to accommodate my walking style to whatever preferences the dog or pet parent prefers due to needs being different for each individual animal. I am comfortable with dogs of all sizes and have learned to assemble numerous styles of leashes. There is the rare occurrence where another dog might attempt a scuffle with your baby. Luckily, I have been trained to accurately pick up on a dog's body language to prevent this from happening. Though it is unlikely situation, if this happens, I am capable of stopping it in the safest way possible thanks to my time working in a dog facility.

The walks could have multiple dogs. My puppy will usually be attending, They would be a calm, collected walk. If dog requires very active walks, if acceptable to owner, I will take dogs to dog parks to let them run around freely, or if my husband joins me on some walks, he's military and enjoys to run with dogs and would happily do so. I do have a collapsible bowl for water as well.

Top tips for getting started with a dog walker in San Diego

  1. Look for a dog walker who has passed a background check.
  2. Ask a DogVacay dog walker for a free Meet-n-Greet. Take your pet for a short stroll in San Diego, letting the dog walker hold the leash. You’ll know quickly if this is the right person for your pet.
  3. Then visit your home with the dog walker, so your pet becomes comfortable with this person in the dog’s territory.
  4. Make plans for letting the DogVacay dog walker into your home. Some people may feel comfortable providing a key. Others keep a key in a combination lockbox. Many people use smart locks and programmable key codes.
  5. Discuss the length and route of the walk in your neighborhood in San Diego. Cover what kind of updates you want (such as a “bathroom” log or behavior notes).
  6. Explain what your treat policy is after a walk. Keep treats safely stored, and let the dog walker know where to find them.
  7. Make sure your pet has the right harnesses, collars, leashes and equipment for a safe and fun walk.
