I usually just stroll but I can adjust my pace for the dog. I don't take too many walks but I go to a place near my home where its easy to go on walks or bike rides and whatnot and there is dog park located there. I probably can't do early morning walks because my classes are all early in the morning but evening walks would be great or anytime later. Early morning walks are doable on weekends and Fridays which is when I don't have any classes.

My walks can fit the need of your dogs. Leisurely, active, multiple dogs, solo dog. We can walk, run, or stroll. I have training to help dogs walk well on leashes and stay focused to maximize exercise and release energy. We can walk around your neighborhood, my neighborhood, to a dog park or wherever you see fit.

The dog walks will be fun and fast paced! I like to do solo walks, but if the dogs are small in size then walking multiple dogs is no problem! I like to walk in the pet owner's neighborhood for the most part. If their is a nearby park that the owner usually takes the dog(s) to, then I am open to doing the same!

I like to take the dogs to a nearby Dog Park which is completely enclosed and let them play, lay in the sun. Besides that we go for walks 2-3 times a day, depending on the weather. When sitting around I usually brush them out or cuddle time. Between myself and my daughter each dog gets one on one time so they know they are safe loved and special

I feel that our walks should be Leisurely and solo. It's more comfortable for me and my friend, we can enjoy nature together and explore parks or just be around the block. We can play catch or play tug a war at your local park. I like knowing I could give my new friend adequate attention and feel wanted.

Top tips for getting started with a dog walker in Norwalk

  1. Look for a dog walker who has passed a background check.
  2. Ask a DogVacay dog walker for a free Meet-n-Greet. Take your pet for a short stroll in Norwalk, letting the dog walker hold the leash. You’ll know quickly if this is the right person for your pet.
  3. Then visit your home with the dog walker, so your pet becomes comfortable with this person in the dog’s territory.
  4. Make plans for letting the DogVacay dog walker into your home. Some people may feel comfortable providing a key. Others keep a key in a combination lockbox. Many people use smart locks and programmable key codes.
  5. Discuss the length and route of the walk in your neighborhood in Norwalk. Cover what kind of updates you want (such as a “bathroom” log or behavior notes).
  6. Explain what your treat policy is after a walk. Keep treats safely stored, and let the dog walker know where to find them.
  7. Make sure your pet has the right harnesses, collars, leashes and equipment for a safe and fun walk.
